Filters should have more fields than are currently available. For example, I would like "Opportunity Type" to be a field that is a filter, so that I can sort between institutional, private client, and referral partners.

Account Layout Page
It would be great if we could change the layout of different tabs. The accounts Tab is where we house our clients values. We would like to to be able move certain elements to the top of a page and push others down. It would eliminate scrolling from top to bottom so we can just focus in on the Basic and General info elements.

Pinned Notes Should Appear On Client Dashboard
I came to add this suggestion but found it was already mentioned. Years ago. But nothing was ever implemented. It seems like it would be an easy fix and feels like it should be common sense feature, but if you have a note that is important enough that you want to pin it, why can't that note appear at the top of the Recent Notes on the client dashboard. Or at least somewhere on the main dashboard. Feels like it sort of defeats the purpose of highlighting a note if I have to navigate to another section to be reminded…

Add Annuity data into Accounts - the current set up does not work well with Annuities
While I am seeing people say the Account info does not work for investments, it is not working for Annuities either. It would also be nice to integrate with the companies. With the pricing change, it would be very nice to have this system work for us. Currently we are having to duplicate work and use spreadsheets, when it would be very simple to have the proper info in Accounts and a report to run from it.

Contact Card to show Upcoming Appointments/Tasks
Enhance the client contact card to display real-time key information, specifically:
Whether the client has an upcoming appointment scheduled (with date and time)
Number of open tasks linked to their name
Reasoning:
This would streamline workflow by allowing users to quickly see important details at a glance without having to search elsewhere. It would save time, reduce back-and-forth navigation, and improve overall efficiency when interacting with client profiles.7 votes -
Redtail Speak - Bulk Messaging to a group
it would great if we can broadcast message a group of contacts, instead of choosing contacts one by one if needing to message all clients in case of an irregular closure or event

Improve on the Workflow interface when creating/editing a workflow
The interface is very clunky and confusing when creating or editing a workflow. The field description for the tasks is small, and it is challenging to organize the workflow on a higher level. Would like the tasks/steps to be one line with the ability to expand on each if needed, or expand/close all to see the higher level.

Add Ability to Bulk Re-Categorize Completed Activities
Sometimes your organizational structure changes and would be nice to be able to change Categories and Activity Types in bulk on already completed activities. This way our reports will be more useful. Having to Uncomplete and Recomplete these activities is a pain. Thanks!

Seminar Canceling
I would like to add "Canceled" the Seminar status list. Right now its just Active & Prior. I also want to complete the event/seminar from the calendar without deleting the seminar. For example, we have canceled the event/seminar from December 3rd but it is still one the calendar even though I have changed the status to prior.

default team
Can a new note not default to the same team as the user if the user is only on one team? Why do I have to always pick a team if I am only on one team? At the minimum the team dropdown should only include the teams I am on.

Custom Export Include Assigned Permission
It would be helpful to be able to include the assigned permissions in a custom export to make it easier to review which contacts are assigned to which permissions.

Opportunity Permissions for Non-Admins
For non-admins, remove the ability to assign a permission at the creation of an opportunity. We've had users permission themselves at creation and because they're not an admin, they don't have the ability to adjust or see any permission on that particular opportunity. At the creation of opportunity a permission ability for non-admins creates a situation, if they only select themselves, where it can't be adjusted or seen by other users.

Create a Time Log Box with Start and Stop on Contact Page
Create a Box that has a start/stop timer with dropdown box when you press stop and logs the time that was spent doing a certain activity. A simple "Button" that says "Start"...then it switches to a "stop" button. When you press stop a dialog box pops up and you can say what that time was spent doing either manually or with a template. Then it creates a data log of the time spent in the specific contacts folder.

Have the memberships tabs visualize connections in a social graph
It would be great to be able to see a contact's connections in a more visual way so that not only family members but friends, vendors, etc would show and then allow for an easy way to show the connections of those connections. I love social graphs and think it would enhance the understanding of each contact and the degrees of connections between them all.

Integrating Clientworks Calendar with Redtail Calendar
Integrate CW calendar with Redtail calendar.
For those of us using Meeting Manager having the Clientworks Calendar integrated with Redtail Calendar would be helpful with carrying over appointments.6 votes -

licenses
In the Licenses tab, it would be helpful for the list to start out in alphabetical order. I think it defaults to when the record was added, which isn't very useful in practice. We use this tab to list all rep codes and license numbers for each of our advisors.
I know we can click on the Company header to sort alphabetical, but having this as the default would be nice!

set a Contact Permission when a Contact Status is changed (for example, to client from prospect)
Right now, you can have an automatic contact permission, but only when the contact is created. If you create prospects, and then convert them to clients, there is no way to have a permission created automatically.
Since many of us create "prospects" prior to them becoming "clients", it would be very helpful to have permissions changed when we add certain information such as Social Security number, etc, which we don't have when they are prospects.

Add a visual status of tasks on the Activities List
At least add an icon like the exclamation point that means in a holding pattern. A visual status or percentage done on the list of tasks would be nice. Basically, I would like a way to differentiate activities in the list that I am waiting on someone else or some information before proceeding. That way it does not clutter the list of to do's when I am seeing what I need to do.
