  1. Interface is segmented, Update for better flow

    When navigating Redtail, the interface is simple to use, however it is very segmented. For example, when I want to see a client's contact information, I need to click in several areas. I look at the contact card, contact details, then go to the KYC and click through all of that information.

    It is very time consuming, we should have the option to combine this all into one clean section when we look at the contact page. The activities should also not be such a large section, they should be off to the side or below the client's information out…

  5. Color contrast in new release is bad for accessibility

    The contrasts in the new release of the CRM make it very hard to see the edges around boxes/areas, the white and grey are too similar, and the red is too bright.

    UDF; remove the "Type" from view. It's only relevant when creating it. We don't need to see it.

  8. Allow the sidebar to be customized or rearranged

    Our office doesn't use the the calendar in Redtail. We would like to be able to remove it from the sidebar. If it can't be removed, we would like to be able to move down to the bottrom.

    The ability to integrate with insurance companies to auto-import dates of expiration, term remaining, face values, cash/surrender value, etc

  10. Automating Review Reminder Emails

    Introduce the ability to automate email templates based on scheduled events. Mail merge would pulls scheduled date for meeting and send an automated email that we would set up. Or go through the calendar and add a confirmation email to automatically send a few days before. Advisor can edit template email in email templates.

  11. Activites Table View

    Greater customization of the Activities Table view. Specifically, I'd like to be able to see the notes for any given activity in my list in the table view without the need to click through to the individual activity.

    Color coding is quick to the eye and incredibly helpful when navigating, if that could be a feature for categories that'd be fantastic.

  14. Add pop up notifications

    Consider adding a Pop-Up notification option, similar to Outlook pop-up notification option. If I'm on the phone I often do not hear the audio notification. This has caused me to miss scheduled appointments many times. Having a visual Pop-Up appear on my screen and stay on the screen until I close it, would be very beneficial.

    It would be great to be able to color code a workflow based on the category type similar to the way we can with activities based on the type if task.

  17. Updating family section

    While originally looking for a way to put a custom alert on someone's record so that when anyone lands on them it reminds them of something? For example for couples getting divorced or people with active POAs. Understanding that you don't have that feature and being told to use the important information section. I think an easier fix that could be very helpful would be if you could update the "family" section to say separating/divorcing/caring for/POA of/ or a field that could be typed in to one of those options it could be more obvious.

  18. Removing clutter and organizing notes vs. calling/scheduling notes

    Having come from sales force and being used to that system I need help creating a separate section, other than notes, that strictly tracks calls made and notes related to the call. it becomes very cluttered to have all notes and communication on the main page for the client.

  19. Opportunity Templates

    It would be really helpful to have Opportunity Templates that can be linked to specific workflows and that allow us to set up percentages for commission structures. For example, we frequently do annuity applications for a specific product company - if we could set up an opportunity template that included a templated commission percentage and automatically kicked off linked workflow template for the paperwork, that would make the opportunities section a lot more useful and would drive advisors to be more proactive about finishing paperwork because they can see a visual representation of how much money is on the table…
