Duplicate Contact Report - Middle Initials
As a Redtail CRM User, I want the Duplicate Contact Name Report to acknowledge middle initials, so that the contact can be identified as an individual record rather than a duplicate.
Goal: The problem is a bloated Duplicate Contact Report List that is inaccurate because it can not differentiate contacts.
Benefit: This will provide clearer communication to customers and prevent communicate to the wrong individual.
Acceptance criteria: When the first and last name are the same, the middle initial is different which clears the names from the duplicate contact report.4 votes -

Add pop up notifications
Consider adding a Pop-Up notification option, similar to Outlook pop-up notification option. If I'm on the phone I often do not hear the audio notification. This has caused me to miss scheduled appointments many times. Having a visual Pop-Up appear on my screen and stay on the screen until I close it, would be very beneficial.

Opportunity Templates
It would be really helpful to have Opportunity Templates that can be linked to specific workflows and that allow us to set up percentages for commission structures. For example, we frequently do annuity applications for a specific product company - if we could set up an opportunity template that included a templated commission percentage and automatically kicked off linked workflow template for the paperwork, that would make the opportunities section a lot more useful and would drive advisors to be more proactive about finishing paperwork because they can see a visual representation of how much money is on the table…

Add attachments to Activity Templates so blank attachements can be used regularly
Currently, there is no way to add template documents that would be used for repeated activities to those activity templates. Please allow the feature to add attachments of documents we would regularly use for our activity templates.

Interface is segmented, Update for better flow
When navigating Redtail, the interface is simple to use, however it is very segmented. For example, when I want to see a client's contact information, I need to click in several areas. I look at the contact card, contact details, then go to the KYC and click through all of that information.
It is very time consuming, we should have the option to combine this all into one clean section when we look at the contact page. The activities should also not be such a large section, they should be off to the side or below the client's information out…

Broad
Is there a way to have a short delay in broadcast email queque in case you have to cancel a broadcast email? Last week a duplicate email was sent out under advisor and admin names. I wanted to cancel the one sent out under me - but the details did not show as to who sent which one. I was also told that once an email goes out it cannot be cancelled. Zapier Integration Update
It would be very useful to have one of the trigger events between Zapier and Redtail was "Note Added".

Activites Table View
Greater customization of the Activities Table view. Specifically, I'd like to be able to see the notes for any given activity in my list in the table view without the need to click through to the individual activity.

Automating Review Reminder Emails
Introduce the ability to automate email templates based on scheduled events. Mail merge would pulls scheduled date for meeting and send an automated email that we would set up. Or go through the calendar and add a confirmation email to automatically send a few days before. Advisor can edit template email in email templates.

Color coding categories
Color coding is quick to the eye and incredibly helpful when navigating, if that could be a feature for categories that'd be fantastic.

UDF; remove the "Type" from view. It's only relevant when creating it. We don't need to see it.

Move or Duplicate the Memberships placement in Redtail
Have "Memberships" in the "Know Your Client" section of Redtail AND on the main contact record page along with "Keywords & Tags, UDFs, Financials, Important Information, Misc Client info". It would be nice when looking at a contact record to easily see who they are in membership or relationship with.

Add client's name to a workflow on the calendar
I have an automated workflow for Client Reviews. When I activate the workflow it simply says Client Review on the calendar. When there are multiple reviews, you have to open each one to see the client you are working on.

This would eliminate the need to exit the workflow or activity and separately access the client record just to retrieve basic information.

"Linked Contact" should be whatever in "Job Title" unless it's blank then "Employee".
