  1. Improve accounts tab layout and add customizability

    Currently, only certain information is readily available on the accounts tab without going into each account. To resolve this, allow for customizing the columns shown in the family accounts section to allow for some information to be removed if not in use (i.e. flags, risk if you don't use orion planning, face value for brokerage accounts, etc.) and add columns that would be more useful for different account types (i.e. investment objective for brokerage accounts, account owner or account title, RMD information, IRA Contributions, etc.).

  2. Search for a particular word that is NOT included in a note

    Search for a particular word that is NOT included in a note. Currently, I can search for a particular word that I would like to find, filter for the account type, the category, and red tail will find a list of contacts that has that particular word within a timeframe for a particular contact. I would like to reverse that and find contacts that do NOT have a particular word with the same search criteria as above.

  3. Contact Card to show Upcoming Appointments/Tasks

    Enhance the client contact card to display real-time key information, specifically:

    Whether the client has an upcoming appointment scheduled (with date and time)

    Number of open tasks linked to their name

    Reasoning:
    This would streamline workflow by allowing users to quickly see important details at a glance without having to search elsewhere. It would save time, reduce back-and-forth navigation, and improve overall efficiency when interacting with client profiles.

  4. Exclude Invalid Addresses from mass mailings. In SmartOffice, if we marked as an address as invalid, the system would automatically exclude

    Exclude Invalid Addresses from mass mailings. In SmartOffice, if we marked as an address as invalid, the system would automatically exclude those addresses from mass mailings/printings, therefore keeping efficiency in the office. It would do the same for email addresses. It would be nice if Redtail had this feature rather than us having to manually sort thru our data each time.

  5. sidebar for workflows

    Please add a sidebar for Workflows that would open when in a Task. Allow users to move from Workflow sidebar to Task w/o interruption or saving first.

    It would be very useful to have one of the trigger events between Zapier and Redtail was "Note Added".

  7. Change the Linked Contacts on Activities Back!

    Please change the activities view of linked contacts back to the way it was before yesterday!!! It was changed so that if there are more than one contact linked, it only shows 2 contacts now instead of the contact's names. This makes it impossible to quickly differentiate tasks between clients without having to hover over the 2 contacts link to see who it actually pertains to. This is the worst update since the contact bubbles. Please change it back....

  8. Make Opportunities more efficient

    I have several opportunities, and I really like using the list to keep track of the things we are currently working on. Many of the contacts are a mix of prospective and existing clients on which I have already made several notes. I would like the most recent notes for each contact to be automatically linked in the notes section to avoid redundancy in making a note under the contact and another note on the contact opportunity. I understand that the last note could be copied; however, that isn't efficient when I have multiple opportunities to manage.

  9. Add attachments to Activity Templates so blank attachements can be used regularly

    Currently, there is no way to add template documents that would be used for repeated activities to those activity templates. Please allow the feature to add attachments of documents we would regularly use for our activity templates.

  11. Account Flag

    Hello.
    I would be VERY helpful to be able to use the account flags (Tax Qualified, Discretionary, Managed, Held Away) as a search parameter in the Advanced Search. We have certain account prefixes for different types of accounts and this would help to verify accounts.
    At the very least, make an option for Flags in the Custom Export Template feature. That way we could could export it to Excel and sort it.

  12. Delete unused activity types used by others on team

    I work on a large team and everyone uses different activity types, so when I create an activity I have to look through a list of like 30 activity types instead of just the five that I specifically use. It would be great to be able to customize my preferred activity types by deleting things that aren't relevant to me.

  13. Move or Duplicate the Memberships placement in Redtail

    Have "Memberships" in the "Know Your Client" section of Redtail AND on the main contact record page along with "Keywords & Tags, UDFs, Financials, Important Information, Misc Client info". It would be nice when looking at a contact record to easily see who they are in membership or relationship with.

  14. Activity order should not shuffle on the activities tab

    Activities list should remain static when the page is refreshed, not rearrange every time. It makes it very hard to keep track of what I am looking for when there are too many activities listed at the same date and time.

  15. Add Federal and State Tax withholding fields

    We are requesting an additional feature be added to the existing "Estimated Tax Information" section on each contact record in the "Financials" section:

    Please add two additional rows:
    Federal Tax Withholding %
    State Tax Withholding % (with a state dropdown menu to choose)

  16. Note borders

    The borders in the notes are all the same making it very hard to separate a whole note from the content inside a note. The border around the whole contact notes section is ALSO the same making it even more chaotic - too many lines create less visual separation.
    Maybe make the border of each note thicker or bolder so we can separate the note from the contents of the note easily.

  17. Assistive Access for Iphone Capability

    Assistive Access is a mode for people who need assistance navigating the Iphone. You can add apps to the 'updated' view when this mode is enabled but Redtail CRM is not one of them. Speak is enabled to be added, but not the main app.

    Is there a way to enable that to be added to the assistive access screen? No redesign or anything necessary, just the ability to add redtail to the Assistive Access Mode in Iphone would be incredibly useful for us! Thanks.

  18. Hide/Unhide Users

    We use a virtual assistant who has external access to our RT database. She has also added backup virtual assistants within her company to our account, who are external users for when she is out of the office. It would be great if there was a way to hide/unhide users without deactivating them, so they don't clutter up our usual users as we schedule activities and meetings.

  19. Add Annuity data into Accounts - the current set up does not work well with Annuities

    While I am seeing people say the Account info does not work for investments, it is not working for Annuities either. It would also be nice to integrate with the companies. With the pricing change, it would be very nice to have this system work for us. Currently we are having to duplicate work and use spreadsheets, when it would be very simple to have the proper info in Accounts and a report to run from it.

  20. Pinned Notes Should Appear On Client Dashboard

    I came to add this suggestion but found it was already mentioned. Years ago. But nothing was ever implemented. It seems like it would be an easy fix and feels like it should be common sense feature, but if you have a note that is important enough that you want to pin it, why can't that note appear at the top of the Recent Notes on the client dashboard. Or at least somewhere on the main dashboard. Feels like it sort of defeats the purpose of highlighting a note if I have to navigate to another section to be reminded…
