  1. Remove automatic consolidation of completed activity notes.

    New update makes completed activities on the main client page consolidate. This creates a ton of re-work in having to go back to open each closed activity to review recently completed activities. Please make this a default that can be turned on or off.

  2. Option to remove activity note consolidation

    On the main client screen, completed activity notes all condense and have to be clicked to open to review. Please make this a preference so it can be turned off. This causes a ton of re-work in having to open each one to review recent closed activities.

    The Today column is now gray, it would be nice to be able to change the color. I use gray for something else so it blends in. Thank you!

  5. Column View for Opportunities

    Feature Suggestion: Column View for Opportunities

    I’d love to see a column-based view added to the Opportunities screen in Redtail CRM! This feature could function like a Kanban board, making it easier to manage and update opportunities visually.

    Here’s how it could work:

    • Sortable Columns: Users could organize opportunities by stage, type, or source, with each column representing a specific category.

    • Drag-and-Drop Updates: Opportunities would appear as cards within the columns, and users could update an opportunity’s stage by dragging it from one column to another (e.g., from “Needs Contact” to “Meeting Scheduled”).

  6. adding Pins to webmail hosted email

    Attach an option to pin emails to the top of the list of email in the inbox. Preferably in Outlook using Zimbra connector on webmail.redtailtechnology.com.

  7. Reverse New Feature - # contact not contact names listed on Calendar view

    The new update that now shows how many contacts when more than 1 in the calendar instead of the contact names. This is a time suck to not just be able to pull up the calendar and see who you are all meeting with. Now you need to hover if there is more than 1 person - which how we run our Redtail is VERY often as we link husband and wife to appointments that show on our calendar!

  9. Add customizable fields in Opportunities/ability to add or remove fields when viewing Opportunities

    We build reports back to our financial institution for qualified referrals. It would be a nice-to-have customizable fields we can input when creating opportunities. i.e., if "referred by" was available within the opportunity. Source is already there. It would be nice to see who the opportunity was referred by, instead of hunting for it in the contact details. Further, it would be nice to be able to build our lists with custom data sets. In this example, I'd like to add the name of the referrer next to the source when I see my opportunity list. Having customizable fields and…

  10. client profile sharing between advisor databases

    Allow advisors from separate databases to share client contacts between their databases so that both advisors can see the client details, accounts, and notes at the same time without having to switch database views.

  11. Opportunities Templates and Date of Creation Filter

    I would like the ability to edit the opportunity template including stages and types. Not every opportunity needs to be limited to 9 stages, nor does there need to be 9 stages for all users of Redtail. Being able to customize what stages you have and why type of opportunity it is would be very beneficial across all users on Redtail.

    Additionally, I would like the option to be able to filter opportunities by the date the opportunity was created. Either being from a specific month or a year or by the entirety.

  12. Secure file transfer for documents or Redtail Imaging Client Portal

    Any functionality that will allow us to use Redtail to transmit files securely between our firm and the client. This would be a huge timesaver over currently using a 3rd party fileshare via email and password that will eventually result in us uploading everything into Redtail Imaging anyways.

  13. Linking Contacts to Calendar

    When entering an appointment in the calendar, allow us to add multiple linked contacts in that pop up rather than having to open up the entire meeting to add the spouse.

  14. Zapier Integration to add a note and to complete activites

    Zapier's integrations are super helpful - although being able to add a note would be amazing as well as complete an activity.

  16. Automating Review Reminder Emails

    Introduce the ability to automate email templates based on scheduled events. Mail merge would pulls scheduled date for meeting and send an automated email that we would set up. Or go through the calendar and add a confirmation email to automatically send a few days before. Advisor can edit template email in email templates.

  18. primary email

    When filling out the template to upload prospects en mass there should be a field to designate which email you would like marked as primary. Currently, we have to manually go through thousands of contacts after an upload and mark the primary emails. Systems like FMG suite only send to the primary email on a contact so it is important the correct email is selected.

  19. Client authentication (not redtail users)

    Create a radio button in the client profile that allows you to send a text code to the phone number on record for the client to authenticate them. A window then pops up in the client profile and The client can then repeat that code back and you can enter it. Once you enter it, it logs it in the redtail notes that you verified the client. This feature could be used as an add on to notes where a client is requesting funds from an account etc.

  20. Account Layout Page

    It would be great if we could change the layout of different tabs. The accounts Tab is where we house our clients values. We would like to to be able move certain elements to the top of a page and push others down. It would eliminate scrolling from top to bottom so we can just focus in on the Basic and General info elements.
