Duplicate Contact Report - Suffix Identification
As a Redtail CRM User, I want the Duplicate Contact Name Report to acknowledge suffix differences, so that the contact can be identified as an individual record rather than a duplicate.
Goal: The problem is a bloated Duplicate Contact Report List that is inaccurate because it can not differentiate contacts.
Benefit: This will provide clearer communication to customers and prevent communicate to the wrong individual.
Acceptance criteria: When the first and last name are the same but the suffix is different, which clears the names from the duplicate contact report.4 votes -

Open Workflow steps should be listed as an open Activity- One Place for all Open Items
I want to manage any open item assigned to me in one place versus going to different sections of the CRM. If I have a workflow step open and needing to be completed, it should be an Activity and be represented in my Past Due, Today or Future Activities along with every other Activity.. It is inefficient to have to open various workflow to find steps I need to complete or looking in different sections of the CRM.

Add Hidden Workflow Templates
Hidden Workflow Templates.
I don't mind sharing my templates but I am a workflow queen so I am looking to create many personalized templates for my tasks to stay on top of my work load. However, I don't want other people to have to weed through my personalized templates to find their templates and vice versa. So private templates would be a fabulous addition. Include a chart or way to track changes on the Dashboard. Even if it were to click into AUM, Contacts, Categories.. Include a way to TRACK THE CHANGES in all these metrics.

Workflow Automation
When an activity is created by another app (OnceHub), we manually change the activity to a more specific, custom activity type (Inquiry call) which is linked to an automated workflow (Inquiry call workflow), but RedTail doesn't recognize that as a newly created activity, so it doesn't launch the automation and start the workflow. Please update the automation to treat activity type change as a newly created activity so it can trigger the automation because the automations are useless without it

Redtail Speak Group Chat Privacy
Chatroom groups in Redtail Speaks are not private. Anyone working in your organization can see information in a chatroom group they are not a part of simply by searching keywords in the "Search Messages" bar in Redtail Speak. I propose building a setting in so when you form a chatroom group you are allowed to mark it private or public, so the group users can determine whether uninvited employees in the company can read what is in the chatroom group.

Ability to add to Asset Type under Assets & Liabilities
Add in Manage Database List, Asset Type under Assets & Liabilities. Currently you're not able to add selections to this database. We use Other a lot for our Asset Type which isn't helpful so the work around is to use the Name field to include the Asset Type that's not found in the drop-down box.

Create spouse contact record when editing marital status that auto links to initial contact record
For example, when a client gets married, we would like to be able to update their marriage status to "married" and be able to add spouse details in the same window. Thus, essentially creating a new contact record that is automatically linked to the initial contact record we updated. This could stream line creating contact records moving forward.

Alert/warning pop up when clicking on client profile, if "caution" is needed
Clients who have big life events/fraud should be handled with care. Some team members may not have the time to "Dig" for a note they don't know is there and may cause more problems.
There should be a feature where a pop up box needs to be read/addressed when entering a client profile so the employee can "use caution" when needed.28 votes -
Connect "Know your client" > professional current > employements and the basic info on contacts home screen
It would be very helpul if the professional section under "Know your Client" automatically updated the Bio "Basic Information" for that client. An example would be if I put a client works for fedex in the professional section under "Know your client", the occupation and employer would automatically update to their basic info. Furthermore, when they retire, it would continue showing their last know job, but with the word "Retired" in parenthesis.

Provide a solution to ADD an end date to recurring events on the activity/event calendar(calendar sync)-it never ends
Calendar items with no ‘end’ date never go away in Redtail.
We know this is an issue, there should be a fix to set an end date IN REDTAIL.
Currently this wastes A LOT of time when a user has to manually or BULK delete events daily just to find their ‘REALY ACTIVITY due today’.1 vote -
Timezone
I am a part of a wealth management group in Puerto Rico, where we use Atlantic Standard Time (AST); which does not have daylight savings time. RedTail does not have time zone features after Eastern Time.
I would like to see if this inclusion could be possible for us to fully implement RedTail's features.6 votes -
activities that are "to dos" on certain day, not "all day' because blocks out entire day for scheduling
problem - since Redtail suite sync to Outlook and client/prospect scheduler is thru Outlook - if "actiivity" is "all day" it blocks out the entire day for scheduling. ie if need to do a follow up phone call on Feb 8, 2025 but not at a specific time - it defaults to "all day" but in fact it is not "all day" but an alert to call that day. Problem is that a scheduler sees the entire day blocked out and clients can't book a meeting on that day. To have the work around as ie 1am or 2am -…

Personal Profile Form
Personal Profile Form - Add an option to exclude a deceased spouse from the Personal Profile Form when printing it for a meeting. Currently, we have to remove the deceased spouse from the client family, print the Personal Profile Form, then add the deceased spouse back to the family. When the advisor is meeting with the surviving spouse, the Personal Profile form is used to review current contact info, updating Driver’s License Info, starting the review of existing accounts, etc., but they do not need to see the deceased spouse’s info on the form during a meeting.

Request to Combine Married Client Review Reminders
I have a suggestion regarding client reviews. If two contacts are married, it would be helpful if they appeared as a single reminder instead of separate ones. Currently, having separate reminders for both individuals clutters my calendar. Combining them into one reminder would make the calendar more organized and easier to manage."
