Feature to manually link Redtail email to a Redtail CRM contact.
Salesforce CRM has ability to manually associate an email from any source to a specific CRM contact. We are users of both Redtail CRM and Redtail eMail. When discussing a specific client case with a third party (ie our BD service team) I would like to be able to link that email conversation to the client's CRM contact record. Was told the best way to do that is to copy and paste the email into notes. That seems onerous at best. Can your developers create an option to allow for manual selection of email to CRM contact? Thanks.

Office 365 links to documents
It would be great for the linked documents section to have a prompt for Office365 or general weblinks. When you post a document into Redtail it becomes static. Posting a link would share the "living document" that we can then access repeatedly on recurring tasks or complex projects requiring more users.

Contact Card - Additional Dropdown
There needs to be an additional dropdown, like the "show archived" dropdown where I can put the information I need but don't want to see.
ex. I need to include information like mailing address, work phones numbers, fax numbers in my database that I am integrating with Redtail. I cannot archive or delete this information from redtail because they will delete on my other platform. But I still do not want to see these on the redtail contact card, hence another dropdown. Contact & Activity data privacy chances during Retreiver Sync
When performing the initial sync of an advisor's Redtail to a Google Calendar we created just for them, we discovered that there is no option to keep linked contact information or activity details private, allowing anyone with the access to see private information. Our concern is that if Google Calendar is hacked, it opens a large back door to our Redtail/client data because of the info synced. Add different color font like notes, and places we can type information. When your older, you can code things and see them easier.

Manually choose which email gets recorded on the contact record
Select email from personal email account to redirect to client record in Redtail CRM archiving.

Activities- Active User
It would be nice to have a feature that shows when another user has an activity open and is actively working in it when you open it. This way, when another user opens it and starts to add notes, it doesn't delete the information one or both of the users has put in.

Allow .ics files to save to Redtail calendar
The majority of the business world uses this file format to send calendar items (e.g. Outlook). It's extremely cumbersome to have to open an .ics file, copy the meeting information/link/etc and paste it into an Activity in Redtail.

Return to the top of the page when clicking on next page
When there are multiple pages on a view, it currently starts at the bottom of the page when you click on next page, and you need to scroll up to begin at the top. Click on next page should begin at the TOP of the page.

URGENT - private client information is being sent by Redtail via email to users - SECURITY RISK
URGENT: private client information is being sent by Redtail via email to uses. In our office, we have ALL email notifications turned OFF for this reason. However, some notifications are still sent. For example: bulk operations, like combining client accounts. When the email notification is sent, it includes PRIVATE CLIENT INFORMATION. We MUST have a way to turn off these additional notifications plus Redtail needs to CHANGE their email notifications so as not to include ANY PRIVATE CLIENT information. Redtail could and should be LIABLE for sharing this information in an INSECURE email! This is a huge SECURITY RISK.

product type
We would like to have customizable product types on the contact card so we can quickly see their product type.

smartwaiver
We use SmartWaiver for our Engagement Letters, Risk Tolerance, etc. It would be great if the email used for the SmartWaiver could auto-pull into Redtail.

Box
Box has a feature that allows you to create a hard copy of what is in Box on your computer. If you download something on the computer it updates in the Cloud and vice versa. Would it be possible to build a similar feature?
If not, would there be a way to complete an initial download of documents to our hard drive, and then be able to download to our hard drive periodically with only the new documents or documents with changes being downloaded.

Need ability to copy Templates from one database to another -- example: copy all Activity Templates from Database A to Database B and Database C -- existing templates currently have to be hand-copied between databases which is not an efficient use of time and it is prone to human clerical error.

archived emails and searches
If you archive an email and the client no longer uses emails they still show up in a search when using email address is not empty because there is an email but it's archived - archiving information should not be used for reports and searches - it returns bad information!

Account Feeds, Integrations, & Reporting
We have 401(k) participant accounts come through our data feed as unlinked because we don't have the contact and SS # in the system. It would be nice to be able to determine which employer plan (company) the participant/account is from (not just which 401k website).
If not, then the ability to run reports based on Account Feed Details -> Account Title. Many accounts will start with "CB&T TTEE SIMPLE IRA PLUS," so we know it's from American Funds, but there is no easy way to determine which employer plan the account is under.

Have "Owner" of a Workflow also be the "Assignee" of all Workflow Tasks
If I am creating a workflow, I can assign the "Owner" of the workflow to a specific user, but there is no way for me to assign the underlying Tasks to that specific user unless I go into each task individually.
There should be an option within the workflow template to initially assign each task to the workflow owner. This way, I can start a workflow, make a specific user the Owner, then all tasks will be assigned to that owner.

In Office Chat Box
I would love if Red Tail had the ability to allow chat sessions between our in-office contacts. If our admin was able add co-workers into a chat or messenger style system for everyone in the office to communicate about tasks and activities within redtail.

Sticky Notes to add to client file
Be able to add a "post-it-like" note to a client file so it stands out instantly. This could serve as a reminder to give them something next time they are in the office, or ask them about such and such....
I don't want to sift through client notes, or use a pinned note- this doesn't stand out enough.
