  1. Activity email should have link

    When we receive activity update emails it would be helpful if there was a hyperlink to the activity so we don't get lost by having to log in and get distracted by other to do's. Tis is becoming a deal breaker for my team

  2. We should be able to Hide Sensitive information from Staff

    When we have a new staff person on probation we want them to have access to activities and workflows but not have access to account and other sensitive information

  3. Employer Field - Add dropdown feature to list Employers the user can select from

    Our office has dozens of group retirement plans. When adding a new employee contact record, we want our office associates to select from a list of employers. Currently the Employer Field is open to any text allowing office associates to enter employer any which way. For example. IBM may be listed as IBM or International Business Machines or Intl Bus Machines. Because we use the employer field in creating quick lists, it is not useful if the employer field is not entered consistently. This is why I suggest a dropdown.   4. add ability to sort / filter activities by a contact's status or contact's category (e.g. segment)

    we have our clients segmented into 4 categories and it would be really helpful to be able to look at activities, especially past due activities by client segment. If we could filter the past due activities by contact category that would allow us to to see what outstanding activities remain by client service tier

  5. Color Coding in the Calendar

    Specifically, please provide the ability to color code "custom" types under categories in activities so that the calendar will color code the way we desire.

    This will eliminate our work around that required us to create "custom" types in the type dropdown just so our receptionist (scheduler) could color code things easily on the calendar for scheduling purposes. Unfortunately, however, this work around has hindered the fuctionality of many other aspects of Redtail. We'd LOVE to use RT to it's full potential, but color coding the calendar is top priority, so everything else must wait until this is an option.…

  6. On Imports do not create a duplicate contact if there is a matching name and email in the system already

    On Imports do not create a duplicate contact if there is a matching name and email in the system already. Other CRM's do this, you can make it optional based on preference and then create an output from the import process that shows which ones were not imported. This is critical for a process I have to do.

    Add capability on imports to not create duplicate entry if there is already a matching name and email address, just skip that entry. Other CRMs have this capability and then generate a report of the ones skipped. Can make it optional in case someone wants dups

  8. Orion integration - add ability to link to more than one database or choose which database to link to

    Our firm has a parent database and a child database in Orion. We are unable to link our Orion child database to RT because currently it will only allow one database to be linked. In this instance we would want the child database to be linked but not the parent database. Having the ability to pick one over the other is helpful or having the ability to link more than one database would solve our current problem.

  9. Vault feature

    Consider adding a "Vault" feature to Redtail CRM or as a separate module that would allow the secure transfer of documents between clients and advisors.

  10. Running Reports that show the created date of any given workflow

    Enhance the reporting to where it's possible to run a report for the created date of any given workflows. This will be extraordinarily helpful from an analytics perspective because it will allow us to track the ebbs & flows of a firm's volume along with identifying trends in business that will help to inform the firm.

  12. Emails search

    I need to be able to search clients WITHOUT an active/primary email. The search "without email" leaves out those elderly clients who no long able have an active email or don't communicate via email. We have archived their email to save email history but then by default we leave them off our call list because they are left out of the search client WITHOUT emails because system is picking up the archived email - which isn't active anymore.

  13. Add “After the previous step” button to “Step Due” category in a workflow

    The workflow needs an option to set a steps due date a certain amount of time after the previous step has been completed. This is an issue I see comments for back in 2020 and the issue is still not fixed. This is such a simple fix that would only require an added button to the "Step Due" category! Here are just a few of the complaints:

  14. More options when sending broadcast emails

    It would be good to have additional options when sending broadcast emails. Such as "Choose primary" or "Choose Business" when sending these, so it just doesn't go to one email.

    Admins should be able to disable integrations for users. (So users cannot connect random integrations and pull in a bunch of junk info.)

  17. Recurring/Repeat Activities

    I see a strong need for REPEAT activities to be changed, even though this might seem like a small idea it could possibly be very beneficial to many Redtail users. As an example, when I want to add an activity that will repeat in October on the second Wednesday of the month, it is impossible. I can only add an activity that will be repeated on the same date, next year. Please add the option to schedule on the first through the last of the month (Weekly), Monday through Sunday (Possibly Multiple Days like the option that is already implemented…

  18. Activity template search

    When you go to create an activity template, have a search bar to filter all the templates. We have over 30 templates for varies jobs. It would be great to have a search bar to narrow down what we are looking for instead of scrolling through a list. DocuSign has a great feature of creating an envelope from a list of templates with a search bar at the top.

  19. Search Engine (Search Anything, Universal Search, Full Database Search)

    Redtail is missing a search anything option (full database search) similar to a search engine capability like Google. For example, if a user recalls something like a name, note, or something else they entered into a contact but doesn't recall what field this is in, they should be able to do a database search for that information. Lacking this functionality creates unnecessary work for your customers, and most of your competitors offer this.

  20. workflow templates

    Have the ability to exclude weekends, holidays (already an option) when making the Workflow. I'd also like to be able to exclude Sundays/holidays only. Saturday's can be good days to make prospect calls or
