  1. Send client name via iCal sync.

    The sync from Redtail to iCal needs to include the client name somewhere. You can see the appointments in Google Calendar, or on the Iphone, but functionality is extremely limited when unable to see who the appointment is for.

  2. Add autocomplete for email addresses to CC emails sent from within the CRM

    the To: field autocompletes based on contacts in the database but the CC field requires you to manually enter each email address. It would be nice if this autocompleted too.

  3. "Meeting Not Held" button to clear appointments on the calendar

    It would be nice to have a "Meeting Not Held" right click button option on the calendar. This will allow us to see that a meeting was originally scheduled but not actually completed for some reason and then have it "clear" on the calendar. It would further be helpful to have another button to "reschedule" the same meeting in the future (though the date & time might change) while keeping the original (cleared) "not held" meeting on the calendar. That way we don't have to set up all the parameters and notes again but it shows the original attempt on…

  4. Duplicates in email history

    When linking emails from Outlook to Redtail email history, if I email a client, and copy 3 of my colleagues, the email saves to the contact record FOUR TIMES. Obviously this creates a lot of noise in the email history. Would be awesome if there was a way for it to only save to the TO and not the cc or bcc

  5. Contact Permission Checkbox

    When adding Contact Permissions, it would be much easier to select what users/teams need to have permission with a checkbox list than to click "Add", select one, click "Add Permission," then go do it all over again for as many need to be assigned.

  6. Add the "Is Head of Household" field to Custom Export Template

    Add the "Is Head of Household" field to Custom Export Template so that when exporting all client you can tell which ones are head of household.

  7. Client Review Report

    A report including the following information, which is critical for a client review would be GREAT!! A custom export doesn't work for this type of information. Thanks!

    -Name, phone, email address, DOB, category (select/elite, etc)
    -Accounts & Balances
    -Opportunities
    -Client Review items (1st review, Review, Next Review Date)
    -Written agreements review
    -Strategic Allocation Model ( Objective, time horizon, risk tolerance)
    -Estimated Tax Info(AGI, estimated taxes, tax year, estimated tax bracket)
    -Estimated Net Worth (total Assets, Total liabilities)

    Important Info:
    -Personal Interests
    -Employments (Occupation, gross annual income, retire date)
    -Professional Contacts (CPA, attorney, etc.)

  9. address requirements

    it would be extremely helpful to be able to add a contact while knowing limited address information such as ONLY the city and state. I am aware this is to avoid bad data. However if there was a box to indicate we are aware that this is a partial address only, or if it's a prospect, then and only then partial addresses are acceptable etc. That would be very helpful!!!!! At conferences and expos we typically only ask for their city and state as to be able to be able to be more efficient in territory management when client prospecting.

  10. Add more features to the "Payments Info" under accounts

    Under "Payment Info" at the bottom of the page when clicking on a contact's account, there is no option to include the annual or quarterly withdrawal information. Please add this feature along with a description of different withdrawal programs and the ability to add different withdrawal programs linked to an account (maybe similar to the set-up for rider options). We are currently trying to use the CRM to keep track of withdrawals and feel limited to migrate to using Redtail to do this since there aren't very many options tot rack all of the information.

  11. calendar activities not showing the entire title

    Attention Redtail Team: The activities on the Calendar REALLY need to list the entire description of the activity without hovering over it. The text NEEDS to wrap!! Are you guys working on this? This has probably been the number one complaint since the update. We've already missed a few things for appointments because WE NEED TO SEE THE ENTIRE TITLE!! Please get on this ASAP!

  12. User Privileges & Rights

    I would like to know if you would consider additional settings for different types of users. We used to have this on our ACT database. For example, we have the need to give someone access to add notes only and not be able to edit other data, delete data, nor be able to schedule or edit appointments. The more choices the better in terms of deciding a particular user's role within the CRM.

  13. Why do I have to filter my dates in activities every time I sign into Redtail

    It should automatically stay that way. Another inconvenient time consuming thing in Redtail!!

  14. next360 part of Pershing/Improvement to end user

    I want to have the ability to see the avg. cost of each equity along with the original purchase date if there are multiple purchase dates I will need to see each purchase date. In order to be tax efficient with clients this information is essential.

  17. Add ROLE fields to Custom Export Template Options

    Please add the 'role' field as an option on the custom export template. For purposes of team structuring and capacity planning, this would be very helpful.

    I'm having to build a bunch of quicklists and then manually extract the info. A custom export would make this much easier.

  18. Automatically update Marital Status to Married if attached as a spouse

    When you create a new client and list their spouse's name which also creates a client record, it would be great if we didn't also have to list under the contact details that they're married. It should be automated since we listed a spouse for them.

  20. Assign Roles to Specific Teams | Advisor, Assoc. Advisor and (CSA) Client Service Associate of Team

    Right we have the ability to change the Roles in bulk for clients, but being able to add a prefixed option for a team on who should be the Advisor, Associate Advisor or CSA would be so nice.

    So when you add team permissions to a client it automatically adds in the preassigned roles to the users.

    The ability to have multiple CSA's on a client would also be preferred, but not a necessity.
