  1. Show "Partner to" under Contact Name when Marital Status is set to "Life Partner"

    Currently, after a household/family is created, the contact record shows "Married to {spouse name}" under the contact's name whether the Marital Status is set to "Married" or "Life Partner". It would be great to see this say "Partner to {partner name}" when the Marital Status is set to "Life Partner".

  2. personal profile form w/ UDF's

    It would be great to be able to have User Defined Fields available to print on the Profile Forms. We really like to get some additional information from our clients.

  3. Custom Export Fields "Record Added" Date and "Record Added By" person fields

    Custom Export Fields "Record Added" Date and "Record Added By" person fields. This would be helpful in easily understanding if one person is responsible for bad data!

    It would be nice to be able to set a Sound Alert with in the calendar:
    1 hour , 30 min , 15 min before an event.

  6. notes report filter

    Please add the ability to also filter the type of activity. We can filter the category (review, acct notes, general, etc) but not specific activities. I would like to have a report where I can see the notes that may relate to the review category but only want notes for the appointment activity and not see notes for phone calls and others. I can run an activity report but the only notes that show there are anything entered in the description box, not any notes that have been attached.

  8. custom exports

    We like to run a report of expiring licenses, we put that information into know your client. Custom exports will let you export driver's license expiration but won't give you the fields for other id.

    Would be a lot easier if most if not all data could be put in a custom export.

  9. dont delete activity when multiple users are in same activity

    I am baffled that I was told this is not a glitch. But, when two users are updating one task simultaneously, one of them will simply be ignored, and none of their new data will be captured in the task. they will have no idea the task was not updated unless they quality control every item and spend an hour each day making sure redtail did capture what redtail was supposed to capture. see ticket 992803 for background if you want

  10. Ability to Re-Organize Menu

    It would be great to be able to re-organize the menu list on the left side. Especially when we are in a contact to be able to organize them by our most used tabs would be convenient.

  12. tax bracket

    The CFP Board and many states require Financial planners to collect Net worth, tax bracket and income for all clients before advising them. When I am audited by the state, I am required to provide them with a list of all my clients and these items. Redtail has the Estimated tax bracket field, but it doesn't allow us to run a report on this field. It would be helpful to be able to pull this info since its easy to remember to put in there.   13. Should be able to notify more than just one user when imputing a new note

    When adding a note, you can only notify one user about that note. Should be able to notify multiple users.

  14. Sync Department Email History

    Sync department emails to email history. This will provide better organization and cleaner data so vendor "contact card" does not get filled with individual department emails and correspondence within individual department contacts sync with email history within the vendor contact record.

  15. Being able to import contacts ourselves

    Seems like an unnecessary added step to have to send in to Redtail for implementation. Wouldn't it be more efficient to allow the client to import a bulk upload to manage themselves?

  16. Household

    Wed like to have the ability to capture and reference data under the HOUSEHOLD name/title (Ex. James & Virgina Smith) - - - with all the contacts info, notes, documents, etc able to be STORED & ACCESSED under that combined title. Ideally you could introduce the OPTION of storing data at the individual level - - - by clicking on the individual within the household. But otherwise, its maintained collectively/centrally - - - within the household.

    It would also be helpful to see LINKED/associated contacts (Ex CPAS & ATTYS) on the home page - - - in addition to DEPENDANTS.

  18. Reports > Contacts > No Contact > Add Writing Advisor Filed

    We have 14 Financial Advisors... so this report is useless without knowing which client is serviced by whom. It would work much better if we could filter by writing Advisor.

  19. scheduling

    Currently we create a Schedule Meeting Task for our current client/contact list that reminds our front office on a quarterly, semi annually, or annually basis to reach out to the client and schedule an appointment for a portfolio review. I was trying to eliminate the amount of time the staff spends on the phone and going back and forth with lients to schedule appoints so I thought I could integrate a scheduling app.

    However, There is no way to link a retail contact to the scheduling tool (i.e. Calendy) so If we utilized that system the office staff would still…

  20. Workflow Complete Triggers Additional Workflow

    Completion of one workflow should be able to be a trigger event to another workflow. This would allow an automated bridge to connect related workflows.
