  1. Show Attendee Status for Seminar in Contact

    In the contact record under seminars it tells you WHAT seminar they signed up for but it doesn't tell you their "Status" (if they attended or not) It currently shows the status of the Seminar - Active or Prior however it should show the status of the attendee. The seminar status is not helpful data.

  3. Be able to Archive an entire file.

    Be able to Archive an entire file. Goal, only see file when we want to.
    Example: When a prospect doesnt pan out, we want to keep the file and it's informaton; however, it would be "hidden" until we wanted to see it.

  4. link contact to note after note is posted

    After a note is posted, would it be possible to add a feature where an additional contact is linked to said note? Instead of deleting and recreating the note. We know there is a feature to copy the note to a new contact. But when comments are added or activities are linked, we would like to all parties involved to be on the same page

  5. Link existing document to an activity or note.

    We can currently link a document from our computer to an activity or note and it gets uploaded to Documents on CRM. It would be great if we can link a document ALREADY in the CRM to an activity or note without duplicating it on the CRM.

  7. Calendly Integration

    I feel like a broken record asking for this but how is there not an integration with Calendly yet? We run our entire calendar through Redtail but we are on the verge of switching to Outlook simply because they have a native integration with Calendly. This would save our team time, money, and resources. There has been "internal discussion" at Redtail about this for some time now but never once have we received a substantive update or any progress. Is there any timeline for this integration? Thank you for your consideration!

  8. Have "Owner" of a Workflow also be the "Assignee" of all Workflow Tasks

    If I am creating a workflow, I can assign the "Owner" of the workflow to a specific user, but there is no way for me to assign the underlying Tasks to that specific user unless I go into each task individually.

    There should be an option within the workflow template to initially assign each task to the workflow owner. This way, I can start a workflow, make a specific user the Owner, then all tasks will be assigned to that owner.

  9. Contact Details - Add Retired/Retiring As Of Option

    In financial industry advise offered to clients may differ based on whether they are retired, on the verge of retiring or have many years left to work.

    It would be helpful/useful to money managers / planners to Add Retired/Retiring As Of Option with a drop down to select a date so this information can be entered when the client is created. This would greatly increase the functionality of searching contacts without having to manually assign this options as a keyword or tag group as it may be overlooked.

  10. Notes and account(s) linked within an activity

    Currently, when an activity that is linked to an account, has notes added within the activity, those notes appear in the notes section separately from the activity itself and the account which was originally linked to the activity is not linked to the note. I would suggest notes that are added within the activity get rolled up into the activity so there is one thread/history so all the separate notes that were added within that activity are bundled in one section with the appropriate account number linked to the original activity.   12. Generating the next step/task in a workflow.....

    Instead of showing ALL the steps/tasks due on the calendar, a step/task should not show up on the calendar until the previous step/task is completed. Example: Step 1/Task 1 (marked completed) then the next Task 2 within the Step 1 is generated. Once all the tasks have been generated 1 at a time and completed then the Step 2 would generate. That way the calendar is not bombarded with so many tasks. This is especially helpful when so many steps/tasks are generated for a multitude of clients.

  13. Activity notes in mobile app

    In the mobile app, we're currently unable to view or add notes linked to an activity. Since the workflow limitations cause work-arounds using activities, the ability to review and/or add notes to an existing activity would be helpful. We need to have a consistent experience whether we're working via the browser on our computers or the app on our mobile devices. The incompleteness of the mobile app in this manner makes it difficult to fully embrace the functionality of Redtail if we're unable to count on the consistency across platforms.

  14. Redtail Support Chat

    It would be nice having the option to have an instant message support chat with Redtail support. It would be really convenient to have the option for quick questions to be answered rather than having to wait and talk through email.

  15. Printable Overview of Workflow Templates

    I am writing this at the time of the new workflow template editor update (2021.05.17). The old template editor is what I would use to get screenshots of workflows to print off and discuss in a meeting with our team. I would use screenshots of the outcomes list and the template (because it showed the full text in the task descriptions in an organized format) to compile a document we could cut apart, rearrange, and discuss if the workflow accurately guided process.   16. Collapse/Expand All options for Workflow Template Editor

    Writing at the time of the new Workflow Template Update (2021.05.17):

    The new system for editing templates is much more compact than the previous system and it could really benefit from a way to collapse all of the tasks or steps rather than clicking them all individually. Our office works with some very long workflows and it would help with scrolling and finding the steps/tasks we'd like to edit.

  17. BCC email archive for client email history

    Redtail should capture emails sent 'BCC' from Outlook in the client email history. Currently, it only captures for the archive if it is sent in the 'To' box. But to protect client emails we use the BCC feature. We have migrated to sending blast emails this way because of the lack of functionality in the Broadcast Emails.

  18. Show Workflows and Activities in the Client's Note Section

    Open (and competed) Activities and Workflows should appear in the Notes section of the client's Redtail, rather than only being able to view activities once completed and having to scroll all the way to the bottom to view active workflows.
    We can have the option to filter out the feed, as necessary.

  19. Trigger for more fields for Automation Templates

    Need to expand the options for triggers to include more than one field. We want to be able to trigger if all conditions are true but it only allows for one trigger event. We need to allow for more then one trigger event. For example, if the category changes and status changes then it triggers.

  20. Show whose database you're in..

    Please add a feature that shows you which database you are in.

    i.e. have the advisor's name on the top of the page to the right of the search contacts bar.

    For those of us who need to switch back and forth a lot it's easy to forget which advisor's database you are in. Also if you could make it simpler to switch databases (like a one click switch instead of 3 clicks) that would also be much appreciated!
