    Our team does not find it helpful to have multiple contacts on one activity consolidated on the calendar page. We rather see the multiple contact names at a quick glance rather than having to scroll over the activity.

    The new enhancement may be helpful to others but possibly not to all users. Do we have the option to opt out of this enhancement?

  2. Notes and account(s) linked within an activity

    Currently, when an activity that is linked to an account, has notes added within the activity, those notes appear in the notes section separately from the activity itself and the account which was originally linked to the activity is not linked to the note. I would suggest notes that are added within the activity get rolled up into the activity so there is one thread/history so all the separate notes that were added within that activity are bundled in one section with the appropriate account number linked to the original activity.   4. Schedule or Send Email Later Option

    When we are working with email templates I would like see to the option to schedule when the email is sent. You can only send it immediately. A send later option would be good if we are working on an evening, weekend or would prefer if a client receives the email at a certain time.

  5. Automatically SAVE INPUT and do it WITHOUT CLOSING the activity or note or whatever is beingupdated.

    According to this forum, this suggestion (posted in 2016, 2017, 2018) was completed. Funny, since it's our biggest daily problem. We lose data so often that we have to keep a word doc open in the background during the day to enter notes and then find the time to cut and paste to Redtail. Counterproductive? You bet. Keeping notes for our client records is the main reason we purchased RedTail and it's proving less reliable than Outlook Notes. Finding the time at the end of each day to cut and paste into RedTail is ... difficult. so many words came…

  6. Highlighting text feature

    Please consider adding text highlighting to activities and notes. It's great to be able to insert emojis, however, emojis are not as useful as the ability to highlight text. At times, I have several things happening in one activity, and would like the ability to highlight some things that might still be outstanding (or even color code the text).

  7. Add "Create Activity from Template" to automation actions

    Add "Create Activity from Template" as an action type in Automation Action under "Do this action" tab. Right now you can only do it for workflow templates. It would be great to be able to automate the creation of activities that don't require a whole workflow to manage.

  8. Redtail Support Chat

    It would be nice having the option to have an instant message support chat with Redtail support. It would be really convenient to have the option for quick questions to be answered rather than having to wait and talk through email.

  9. BCC email archive for client email history

    Redtail should capture emails sent 'BCC' from Outlook in the client email history. Currently, it only captures for the archive if it is sent in the 'To' box. But to protect client emails we use the BCC feature. We have migrated to sending blast emails this way because of the lack of functionality in the Broadcast Emails.

  10. Show Workflows and Activities in the Client's Note Section

    Open (and competed) Activities and Workflows should appear in the Notes section of the client's Redtail, rather than only being able to view activities once completed and having to scroll all the way to the bottom to view active workflows.
    We can have the option to filter out the feed, as necessary.

  11. Trigger for more fields for Automation Templates

    Need to expand the options for triggers to include more than one field. We want to be able to trigger if all conditions are true but it only allows for one trigger event. We need to allow for more then one trigger event. For example, if the category changes and status changes then it triggers.

  12. Husband & Wife as One

    Many of my married clients share everything, some even only have one email that they share. What is difficult currently with RedTail is that everything is recorded separately. So notes, emails, documents, reminders, etc. are only connected to one of the two contacts. It would be extremely helpful if we had an option to link the two so that everything that I see in one contact (notes, emails, documents, reminders, etc.) will also show on the other. So no matter which of the two spouses that I open, I will be able to see everything.

  13. Workflow Reports to include more detail such as complete workflows and outcome info.

    The Workflow Report shows the current step. The workflow task report shows the current step and task but not the user/team/role assigned. You also can't see any completed info on the workflow task report. If you are managing an office and trying to review where multiple employees are on all of their workflows including what outcomes they've selected for certain steps, you have to go to each individual workflow and run the timeline report in order to see the outcome itself.   14. Copy Roles selection to the Spouse in a new contact

    Now that you can select Roles in the Contact Add Screen, could the system copy those Roles to the spouses record, if they are also setup in the same screen? I noticed that Permissions copy over, but the Roles did not.

  17. Switching Family Head

    When switching a family head of household all contact information should remain on both profiles. Currently the information remains with the former head of household and we have to key in all the information to the new head of house hold.

  18. Employer Switch to Former Employer

    Currently, employer is automatically added to Memberships when added to Basic Info. When the employer is removed from Basic Info, the Membership is also removed.

    The Membership should remain, but the relationship should change to Former Employer and Former Employee.

    It makes sense to keep a record of this information without manually entering the information after the fact.

  19. Family names

    It would help improve efficiency to be able to tag a family name in an activity, note, or opportunity. Currently you must tag each individual involved. For example John Doe has to be tagged and so would Jane Doe. If we were able to select "Doe, John & Jane" from a family name category information could post on both client cards and save time in searching for the spouses name.

  20. Hide Default Categories (AGAIN)

    While I realize this has been requested numerous times in the past, and has been rejected and had the conversations closed, I would like to reopen the discussions for hiding the default categories that Redtail creates for all users.

    Many of us like specific naming formats or descriptions for categories, especially when reviewing reports, and it would be nice if we didn't have to scroll through "similar" descriptions when selecting things like Account Asset Type, Account Type, Activity Types, etc.

    For example, I like to categorize equity funds as either International Developed or Emerging Markets (for Growth, Value, and Blend).…
