Automation based on UDFs/Dates
It would be great if we were able to set up automation triggers based on if a UDF date field expires. For example, if we want to do a cash flow review every 2 years and we have a UDF that shows the date of the last cash flow review, it would be awesome to have an activity created once the last cash flow review hits the 2 year mark.

retriever cloud
Update Retriever Cloud so that it syncs to the users main Outlook calendar rather than create a separate calendar for the sync.

Important Information Banner
It would be a super helpful feature to have an Important Information Banner automatically pop up when visiting a clients page. This could be a helpful feature for stating information like:
- Client is hard of hearing
- Clients' name is pronounced....
- Client does not want reviews e-mailed to them, only mailed.This would mimic the green banner that shows when its a clients birthday or the red banner that shows that a client is deceased.
This Important Information banner could be yellow or orange to separate it from the above two features.

Allow Default Setting for Past Due Activities/Workflow Items
Please allow a default setting to view all current and past due items. Having to manually find past due items really defeats the point of having assigned items to begin with. Thanks!

Ability for team members to see when someone is working on a task
When a task is assigned to a team, it would be very nice for all users on that team to be able to see when a task is being worked on by another team member. This way 2 team members do not both work on the task simultaneously

The update that shows a person symbol for more than one client is not helpful. Please revert back to where you can visually see the clients

Activity order should not shuffle on the activities tab
Activities list should remain static when the page is refreshed, not rearrange every time. It makes it very hard to keep track of what I am looking for when there are too many activities listed at the same date and time.

Need to be able to give users access to see "roles".
The "Roles" need to be seen by users, not just administrators. Please make it possible for users to see the "Roles" without being an admin. It makes no sense that a user (who is not an admin) cannot lookup who the "Associate Advisor" or "CSA" for a particular client is.

Activity notes in mobile app
In the mobile app, we're currently unable to view or add notes linked to an activity. Since the workflow limitations cause work-arounds using activities, the ability to review and/or add notes to an existing activity would be helpful. We need to have a consistent experience whether we're working via the browser on our computers or the app on our mobile devices. The incompleteness of the mobile app in this manner makes it difficult to fully embrace the functionality of Redtail if we're unable to count on the consistency across platforms.

Zendesk
I hire Redtail as my CRM vendor. Redtail outsources the helpdesk ticket system. Very odd that a vendor that embraces seamless integration requires me to have yet another username and password to follow their tickets. Especially when Redtail offers single sign on for other outside vendors. Please integrate.

Add "On Creation Date" to the Step Due in a workflow Step.
When you create a workflow, you are given the option of setting the Target Date a some point "After Creation Date". So, if you set it to 0 days after creation date, the workflow sets the target date as today. HOWEVER, if you set it up that way and then use automation to trigger it, and that automation triggers when an activity is set and the condition is appointment, EVEN THOUGH the workflow target date is set for today, the workflow target date is set at the future appointment date.
This makes it impossible to have a workflow automatically trigger…

Be able to Assign colors on the Calendar by Name of the person completing task
Color code the calendar by being able to assign a color to each person in the office. That way when you are looking at the calendar each person has their own color for their own task

copy note
When I copy a note from one contact to another (ie - from husband to wife), the date copied should be the date of the original note. It's currently set up to date stamp as today's date. So if I'm copying notes from over the last year from husband to wife, everything is showing up on the wife's page with today's date, which isn't helpful.

put date on all notes and activities not "today"
Put date on all notes and activities instead of "today","last Monday", etc.
When looking at a printed note at a later date, there is no way to know what the date of the note was when it shows "Today at 4:22pm".
The date from day one will save confusion over what date was last Monday, etc.....41 votes -
Provide a link to client to schedule a meeting during a block of time on calendar
Allows us to create a link to send out to multiple clients allowing them to choose a time slot during a specific period of time to schedule a meeting. Once selected that time slot would disappear from the options to the other clients.

Printable Overview of Workflow Templates
I am writing this at the time of the new workflow template editor update (2021.05.17). The old template editor is what I would use to get screenshots of workflows to print off and discuss in a meeting with our team. I would use screenshots of the outcomes list and the template (because it showed the full text in the task descriptions in an organized format) to compile a document we could cut apart, rearrange, and discuss if the workflow accurately guided process. Collapse/Expand All options for Workflow Template Editor
Writing at the time of the new Workflow Template Update (2021.05.17):
The new system for editing templates is much more compact than the previous system and it could really benefit from a way to collapse all of the tasks or steps rather than clicking them all individually. Our office works with some very long workflows and it would help with scrolling and finding the steps/tasks we'd like to edit.

Generating the next step/task in a workflow.....
Instead of showing ALL the steps/tasks due on the calendar, a step/task should not show up on the calendar until the previous step/task is completed. Example: Step 1/Task 1 (marked completed) then the next Task 2 within the Step 1 is generated. Once all the tasks have been generated 1 at a time and completed then the Step 2 would generate. That way the calendar is not bombarded with so many tasks. This is especially helpful when so many steps/tasks are generated for a multitude of clients.

Contact Details - Add Retired/Retiring As Of Option
In financial industry advise offered to clients may differ based on whether they are retired, on the verge of retiring or have many years left to work.
It would be helpful/useful to money managers / planners to Add Retired/Retiring As Of Option with a drop down to select a date so this information can be entered when the client is created. This would greatly increase the functionality of searching contacts without having to manually assign this options as a keyword or tag group as it may be overlooked.
