Manage Database List
It would be nice if in the "Manage Database Lists" section if we had the ability to remove default category types and other defaulted information for cleaning up our CRM.

Head of Household indicated in contact main profile
Would like see to within a contact record if they are the head of household without having to go into the family name to see if the individual is the head of household. Maybe add the house icon beside the contacts name in their main record?

Click and Drag Activity to a Trash can
It is cumbersome to have to open an activity then delete, when the calendar can have this feature to facilitate a smoother workflow.

Calendar Sync
The fact that we cannot truly sync google calendar to redtail calendar is a big problem, rendering automation templates essentially worthless to initiate workflows. This could easily be fixed and should be a top priority, as it eliminates hours of work per week spent in manually assigning workflows.

seperate texts from Client Notes
Clients texts and Notes should be under separate tabs.

Link opportunities to the calendar. Particularly link close dates.
When creating an opportunity, link the close date for the particular opportunity to your calendar. It prevents adding another step and makes using the Opportunity function seamless.

Opportunity Notifications
We are hoping Opportunities may be set up similar to the Activity and Workflow features in regards to notifications. We have multiple Users and multiple Teams in our database. We would like a large Team to have Permission to view the Opportunity but have the capability to turn off notifications on actions/updates done to Opportunities.

Option to allow steps to be active/triggered on the date they are due regardless if the previous step completed
We need workflow steps not to be hindered by the previous step being uncompleted that the next step isn't triggered for those steps that have a date.
We use the step tasks as reminders on the specified date to run certain reports on that date. If the step before it isn't fully completed, it shouldn't prevent the next step being active on the date it's due. I know you can skip steps with outcomes and there are "ways around" certain things I've read in Retail's comments on similar requests... but that is not what I'm talking about and that doesn't…16 votes -
Allow for parallel flows through Workflow with dependencies on Workflow Tasks and not just Steps.
The inability to link Workflow Task dependencies and only dependencies between steps limits the workflow capabilities. Can't start on WF Tasks in the next step until the entire step is complete. Also, allowing for multiple flows through the workflow where WF Steps/Tasks can be done in parallel would be beneficial to real world where multiple sequential paths are frequent and they should be related in the same workflow.

being notified when entering a contact that is a duplicate
I receive about 10 leads a month from a marketing lead source. As soon as I receive a lead, I immediately enter into RT by first name, last name, email address and phone #.
There have been many times that I would receive a duplicate lead (without knowing or remembering) from the past. I wish that RT would inform me when a duplicate contact is being entered, specifically by email and/or phone #. I understand RT only informs of duplicate by EXACT first name, last name and tax id. Ability to export ALL account information
Instead of making us beg for each account detail to be an option for custom export, just allow all info within the account details profile to be an option for custom exports. We wasted a ton of time entering LTC information so we can summarize it for our clients just to be told that part of account information can't be exported. So unnecessary, why would you purposefully limit the system like that and then make us ask for years for it be improved. All info shold be exported or reportable.. no reason to make it so limited!!

Add age or birthdate on family page
Please add the age or birthdate with the dependent's name on the family page. That would allow us to see the ages of all the kids without clicking on each child.

Portfolio Balance = Total Family/Household balance
I think it would be extremely beneficial to have a setting that we could be able to see the HOUSEHOLD total balance on the top right where it shows "Portfolio Balance" instead of just that client. Also, it would be nice when creating an activity and trying to link an account to have all of the household accounts show up instead of just the accounts of that specific client.

Ability to Tag Multiple Users When Adding a Note
Right now, we only have the ability to tag one user when inputting a client note. it would be very very useful if we were able to tag multiple users since in many instances, the information is pertinent to more than just one other teammember. Thanks

Contact Record
Contact Record - when adding an employer, a new contact record is automatically created for the employer/company. The status is listed as non-specified. Would like to see RT automatically list the company as BUSINESS or EMPLOYER. I am cleaning up our database and I have tons of NON SPECIFIED records. If I delete the record, IT DELETES IT FROM THE CLIENT'S CONTACT RECORD. Not good... Also, if i change the status of the client to prior client or if I delete a client, the contact record for the employer still remains. It should transfer along with the client contact record.…

NOTES -- Create limited "Draft" and permanent "FINAL" saves.
We understand that notes are permanent and cannot be edited/changed-- that's the way it should be. We REALLY NEED, HOWEVER, TO BE ABLE to first save a "rough draft" of a note (perhaps with a 3-hour limit) so it can be spell-checked, cleaned-up, items forgotten added, items poorly stated cleaned-up, etc. We are NOT suggesting the ability to change a note that has been saved as FINAL. once it's SAVED IN FINAL, NO MORE CHANGES. But give us a limited "draft" option, especially for phone/verbal PC notes. (Please vote your support for this change if you agree. Thank you.)
