Task Lists
Would like a daily running list of tasks to complete on the side of the calendar with the date started, the task and a quick note on the
progress.When completed I would like to be able to put a line through the task.
Also, below that daily list maybe a monthly or quarterly or yearly list.
I would like to be able to customize the label on those lists.
Last, prioritizing with simple numbers 1-5.I DO NOT WANT THEM TO SHOW UP ON THE CALENDAR.

workflow pages
Please give the option to move from one page to the next or previous page at the TOP of the page. We should not have to scroll all of the way to the bottom of the page to get to the next page.

Add Duty of Care prompt or permit UDF that includes a prompt
Either add Duty of Care prompts or permit UDF that includes a prompt. For example, I need to answer for every account the following questions:
Please describe the new product(s), new strategy(s), or service(s) considered in accordance with the existing strategy of the account. Your response should include details as to how the proposal will achieve the client's investment objectives and goals based on the services and products available in the account and account funding.

activity range
When on a contact record. Give the ability to change the defaulted range from "Past Due & Next 30" to any of the other options shown on the activity page within the contact record.

Add Suffix to "Full Name" Field when running reports
When running custom exports with the client "Full Name" is doesn't include suffixes, which, when having to add an additional column, makes sorting through information in Excel much clunkier. This would be a much appreciated addition to make running and sorting reports more efficient.

Can you highlight the actual day of the week somehow? Make it grey or lighter?

This relates to the "Permissions" idea that has 143 votes as of now. There should be a default or permission of "all" for attendees on creating an activity/appointment/task. My assistant sets appointments and items for me on our calendars and I want both our calendars to look identical. Each time we set something on the calendar we have to manually check the attendees dropdown to ALL. If one of us forgets to select all, the default is to the current user and just shows up on that user's calendar. That causes issues. My assistant is new and still learning, and…

Organize workflows on the today page with the current task first
Similar to how the activities section is organized. Have the current task on the left side so it's easier to see what needs to be completed.

account name
When linking an account to a note, account, or document only the account number and type shows up. Useless! Multiple accounts are present and we need to identify the one or more that we want to link. If 2 contacts are selected and each contact has an IRA and a Roth IRA along with a NQ account or 2 we have no idea which are which. Accounts should also include the title of the account, not just the acct # and custodian

"Beta" Workflow Stage
There are only "Under Construction," "Active," and "Inactive." It would be great to have a "Beta" stage for workflows that are in a testing stage - maybe even with the ability to only allow specific users or teams the ability to use the workflow.
Right now our firm is putting "Beta" in the title, but there is no way to search and organize RedTail WF templates by this status and it just looks and feels clunky.

Automation Email Alerts should show the Linked Contact
Automations are very limited. To get around this, most of our automations are set to "email user." These emails don't include the Linked Contact for the activity that triggered it. There is way too much manual work to go find the trigger activity, when it's clearly attached to a contact and that contact should appear in the email alert!

Our clients are actively involved in Private Equity. It would be amazing if we could choose Private Equity under the Accounts tab. A place to track value, capital calls paid, capital calls upcoming, private equity contact information

Ability to resize images copy/pasted into notes
When I copy and paste our emails into a note, our company logo always show up humongous. We are looking for the ability to shrink the images within the note itself without having to delete it. Without that freedom, RT starts to fall behind the competition.

I would love for the CRM to be integrated with Adobe Acrobat for quickly filling out forms. Quik! forms is not as user friendly as Adobe so would be nice to have that capability!3 votes -

Create a report that pulls any contact that's had an address update in various timeframes, allowing for filtering by servicing advisor or other data.

Default all activities assigned to a specific Attendee
There should be an option to set all activities created to a specific Attendee. If 99% of the activities you create get assigned to the same person, there should be an option to default all activities made by that creating user (regardless of using a template) to default to one attendee. Saves time and errors when attendees are not updated from creating user.

Connect "Know your client" > professional current > employements and the basic info on contacts home screen
It would be very helpul if the professional section under "Know your Client" automatically updated the Bio "Basic Information" for that client. An example would be if I put a client works for fedex in the professional section under "Know your client", the occupation and employer would automatically update to their basic info. Furthermore, when they retire, it would continue showing their last know job, but with the word "Retired" in parenthesis.
