  1. "Client Events"

    Each year our firm holds special client events (2-3 annually) that definitely do not fall under the "seminars" category. These are social events we offer our RIA clients & we would love to have all the features that your "seminars" has for attendees tracking, etc. Maybe change "Seminars" to a more broad field, but then have different options to choose from under that (broad) starter tab, such as "Seminar", "Class", "Client Event", "Marketing Event", etc.

  2. Keywords, DATE when client has a Keyword added

    Keywords, DATE (Time Stamp) and with who added it when client has a new Keyword added.
    We use Keywords for some of our segregated mailing lists. When adding a Keyword to a profile, if that addition was dated and noted WHO added it, we could better track when additions were made to our mailing list and by whom when we run our Mailing List report.

  3. Add Revenue to the Opportunities dashboard and reports

    Add Revenue to the Opportunities dashboard top line... some firms are less worried about assets and more focused on revenue.

  4. Show whose database you're in..

    Please add a feature that shows you which database you are in.

    i.e. have the advisor's name on the top of the page to the right of the search contacts bar.

    For those of us who need to switch back and forth a lot it's easy to forget which advisor's database you are in. Also if you could make it simpler to switch databases (like a one click switch instead of 3 clicks) that would also be much appreciated!

  5. Linked Notes in Opportunities

    Would be faster to add Linked Notes in Opportunities how it is currently setup in Activities.

    This would prevent from having to open a new page just to add a Note and see the list of all notes from the Main Opp page.

  6. Bulk Action in Reports

    Need the option to run Bulk Actions when I have results from a report.

    I run the Contacts Not Permissioned report for example and I'd like to assign from the results but I do not have this option, other reports as well should result with the check box to the left like search results

  7. when you update the address in Schwab it should automatically update in Redtail.

    When I update the address in Charles Schwab, it should automatically update in redtail or at least the following day. Clients change addresses a lot and when I have to update it in Schwab and then go in an update in redtail it becomes cumbersome.

  8. Automatically update Marital Status to Married if attached as a spouse

    When you create a new client and list their spouse's name which also creates a client record, it would be great if we didn't also have to list under the contact details that they're married. It should be automated since we listed a spouse for them.

  9. Sort Columns in Account View

    On the accounts page, i would love to be able to sort by account type or company. the account number is actually the least helpful thing to sort by.

  10. Send Opportunities Notifications

    Have the system send out an email to the person an opportunity is assigned to as a reminder that it needs to be followed up on.... this was previously posted and said that it was completed, but it actually was not.

  11. Client Review Report

    A report including the following information, which is critical for a client review would be GREAT!! A custom export doesn't work for this type of information. Thanks!

    -Name, phone, email address, DOB, category (select/elite, etc)
    -Accounts & Balances
    -Opportunities
    -Client Review items (1st review, Review, Next Review Date)
    -Written agreements review
    -Strategic Allocation Model ( Objective, time horizon, risk tolerance)
    -Estimated Tax Info(AGI, estimated taxes, tax year, estimated tax bracket)
    -Estimated Net Worth (total Assets, Total liabilities)

    Important Info:
    -Personal Interests
    -Employments (Occupation, gross annual income, retire date)
    -Professional Contacts (CPA, attorney, etc.)

  12. activity completion date in Timeline

    Is it possible for there to be a feature or setting that allows the date to be published in the timeline of the day the event was scheduled to occur? Currently, if my boss sees a client on 8/1/17, then he won't update his calendar until sometime in September to reflect that the event has taken place. In the client's timeline, the date on the top right will say that the event occurred on the random date in september that he clicked "completed event", not on the actual date he completed it.   13. zapier integration: add "Assignee" field to their templates.

    Zapier is an incredibly powerful tool, but it's missing a significant amount of customization. when adding a new activity/task, we need the ability to manipulate the attendees.

  14. Head of Household Display

    Please add some sort of indication on the client profiles for the head of household. Maybe a green box around their profile picture or even just say "head of household" beside their name. I don't care what it looks like but we need some distinction.

  15. schedule activity for last business day or first business day not just day of the week

    I want to schedule a task for the last business day or the first business day of the month or year etc. Only being able to set the task for the first/last monday, tuesday, etc. could create the task a whole week early or late

    it would be nice if redtail could send an email template automatically on a client's account anniversary/annual review. Right now I have to manually send a template to the client.

  18. workflow/Task (Option to hide completed tasks)

    It would be really great if we had the option to HIDE tasks that are already completed under a workflow for a specific contact. I have workflows that have over 20 plus tasks and many of them are complete. It would be helpful to have a button to hide the complete ones so you can see which ones are still outstanding that need to be worked on under that workflow. Gets a little busy on the eyes with that many tasks clogging up the screen.

  19. Linking Important Info to Spouse

    It would be great if you could add an option/button to link Important Information to the spouse. Often times, we make sure that our Important Info is the same for the whole household, so we have to copy and paste the husbands notes to the wifes. Would be helpful if you could simply select that we want them linked to eachother.

  20. Husband & Wife as One

    Many of my married clients share everything, some even only have one email that they share. What is difficult currently with RedTail is that everything is recorded separately. So notes, emails, documents, reminders, etc. are only connected to one of the two contacts. It would be extremely helpful if we had an option to link the two so that everything that I see in one contact (notes, emails, documents, reminders, etc.) will also show on the other. So no matter which of the two spouses that I open, I will be able to see everything.
