  1. Personal Profile Form

    We use this for appointments however, on page 2 (which lists all of the individuals in the household) it lists the account with each value BUT it does not give us a total. Please add a total. We can get it under Portfolio holdings but it doesn't list who the account belongs to. So, I would have to go in an ADD ownership info to EACH account. Seems like it would be easy to add a total!

  2. notify option to create activity screen

    Put the "notify" option on the create window versus having to "create & edit" to get to it.

  3. select notes to move between contacts

    The ability to select specific notes to move from one contact to another without having to move them all. Or, the ability to copy notes and have them keep the original date & time of completion.

  4. Add contact/client names to appointments on calendar

    When booking an appointment on the calendar, we need the names of the clients if there are 2 or more. If it is one name it currently shows it, but 2 or more (like husband & wife) it shows 2 contacts. We would like it to show all contact/client names.

  5. Alert/warning pop up when clicking on client profile, if "caution" is needed

    Clients who have big life events/fraud should be handled with care. Some team members may not have the time to "Dig" for a note they don't know is there and may cause more problems.
    There should be a feature where a pop up box needs to be read/addressed when entering a client profile so the employee can "use caution" when needed.

  6. Workflows Report Columns: Advisor and Creation Date

    We would like to see additional columns on the Workflows Report including an advisor column (who the client is assigned to in their profile) as well as a "date created" column, and a column indicating which user created the ticket.

  8. Why am I limited to using a password with a maximum of 16 characters?

    With the sensitivity of the information locked behind the User Name and Password, it seems a large oversight that users may only use a password that is 16 digits or shorter in length.

  9. Add pop up notifications

    Consider adding a Pop-Up notification option, similar to Outlook pop-up notification option. If I'm on the phone I often do not hear the audio notification. This has caused me to miss scheduled appointments many times. Having a visual Pop-Up appear on my screen and stay on the screen until I close it, would be very beneficial.

  10. Account Reports: "As of" date for account balances and positions

    Please include "as of date" of the balance and positions in any of the account reports. The only place that happens is in the client's accounts positions screen but that is not printable. Thank you.

    Ability to set a template or default when creating opportunities. Let users set a default for all of the areas in preferences. For example: Type being defaulted to New Business.

  12. memberships

    When we have the status of Beneficiary, it would be nice to be able to run a report showing who they are in "Membership" with. At this time, we have to run 2 separate reports. One is a PDF that cannot be changed and the other is an excel spreadsheet. These then have to be cobbled together. This is a lot to do with over 400 people and climbing.

    I’d love to see a column-based view added to the Opportunities screen in Redtail CRM! This feature could function like a Kanban board, making it easier to manage and update opportunities visually.

    Here’s how it could work:
    • Sortable Columns: Users could organize opportunities by stage, type, or source, with each column representing a specific category.
    • Drag-and-Drop Updates: Opportunities would appear as cards within the columns, and users could update an opportunity’s stage by dragging it from one column to another (e.g., from “Needs Contact” to “Meeting Scheduled”).

  14. Duplicate Contact Report - Suffix Identification

    As a Redtail CRM User, I want the Duplicate Contact Name Report to acknowledge suffix differences, so that the contact can be identified as an individual record rather than a duplicate.
    Goal: The problem is a bloated Duplicate Contact Report List that is inaccurate because it can not differentiate contacts.
    Benefit: This will provide clearer communication to customers and prevent communicate to the wrong individual.

    Acceptance criteria: When the first and last name are the same but the suffix is different, which clears the names from the duplicate contact report.

  15. Open Workflow steps should be listed as an open Activity- One Place for all Open Items

    I want to manage any open item assigned to me in one place versus going to different sections of the CRM. If I have a workflow step open and needing to be completed, it should be an Activity and be represented in my Past Due, Today or Future Activities along with every other Activity.. It is inefficient to have to open various workflow to find steps I need to complete or looking in different sections of the CRM.

  16. Add Hidden Workflow Templates

    Hidden Workflow Templates.

    I don't mind sharing my templates but I am a workflow queen so I am looking to create many personalized templates for my tasks to stay on top of my work load. However, I don't want other people to have to weed through my personalized templates to find their templates and vice versa. So private templates would be a fabulous addition.   19. Combine 3 reports into 1: Personal Profile Report, Family Report and Beneficiary Report

    It would be very helpful in our meeting preparation to combine the following reports into one: Personal Profile Report, Family Report and Beneficiary Report and "make it pretty", as in the PDF format those 3 reports generate in. The custom reports generate in an excel spreadsheet and not easy to read.

    Include a chart or way to track changes on the Dashboard. Even if it were to click into AUM, Contacts, Categories.. Include a way to TRACK THE CHANGES in all these metrics.
