  1. Copy TASK notes into STEP notes inside workflows.

    Often the first task of a workflow, has a bunch of questions that the originator of the workflow will need to answer.

    The current workaround, is to copy the questions, then paste them into step notes, and answer them inside step notes, before proceeding to the next step.

    It would save time to have a button to copy the task notes directly to step notes.

  2. Indicate task notes exist in a workflow

    In many workflows, we have task notes (instructions, templated emails, files etc.) embedded into the templates.
    It would be good to have a visual indication in the main workflow page next to each task, if there are embedded notes. Just a little star or checkmark or something. This way, a user would not have to hover to see if there are embedded TASK notes.

  4. List TWO Contacts in Things to do Today

    If one contact linked to activity, contact name is shown. If more than one, the link says "X Contacts" where X is the number of contacts. This should be updated so that two contacts also show the full names in the links, there is room to provide two names. Three or more can stay "X Contacts" but two or less should show the names. Most activities have both spouses attached and seeing all activities say "2 Contacts" is inefficient and hard for organizational purposes.

  5. simple checklist

    add a simple checklist feature that works like microsoft ToDo. This could be daily, could be assigned to an assistant, or could be ongoing.

  6. RMD Information/Log

    Please create a RMD information tab in the left side panel similar to the UDF, Notes and activates fields. We need a section where we can track all RMDs per year and if they were satisfied. RMD accounts can be satisfied in one account of across multi accounts so we need the ability to customize data and take notes and track if the RMD is completed for the year. We need the RMD data to stand separate from accounts section since we don't enter acct info in redtail. Currently we enter RMD instructions in the UDF, but we need a…

  7. filter by completion date

    Would like the ability to filter by completion date. Currently it only filters by start or assigned date which doesn't help if I wanted to see a report of all activities that were completed last month for example.

  9. Plz Increase Size of Note Text Box

    Plz Increase Size of Note Text Box!
    -It's difficult to add large emails or notes into the text box and then make modifications as the actual text box itself is very small.
    -Email chains can be very long, so we modify them to reduce the length of each note so we can find the information later on much faster. Sometimes i do this by going through the note and deleting my personal email signature. But it can very tedious and time consuming (frustrating) when i can only see a tiny portion of the text i just copied over.

  10. add a new word to status

    When I go into the account number for a client, there are only four items under status
    1. Open
    2. Closed
    3. Pending
    4. Under review

    I would like to add 5. Annuitized.

    We have quite a few accounts that are listed as open. They do not have a balance as they are annuitized. So if we would look at the account we would see that.   11. Improve Document Organization

    I think the Documents tab in Redtail should have a folder system that allows us to put different documents into different folders, similar to Windows. Have a long list of documents sorted by date or account can be pretty difficult to navigate

  13. Phone call Relaying/Forwarding integration

    Something I LOVED on a previous CRM was the ability to click the phone number, and it would call your phone, you answered, and it would call that client for you through the phone system (it didn't matter what phone system you used, so individual app integration didn't matter, it just called your phone number to make the call for you). So much easier and faster than dialing the number, and creating a new event/note that I made a call to that person that day. It automatically logged that call and I could add notes.

  14. notes

    Condense the notes that accumulate under individual contacts. For instance, every time an activity is completed, a new note is made that takes up space. It then takes time to scroll down through the archived notes when one is looking for something specific. We manually are having to delete all of these "completed activity" notes. It would be preferable if these were condensed and didn't take up so much visual real estate space cluttering up archived notes. Maybe they could even be set to auto delete after 30 days.

  15. custom account names

    It would be awesome to have a "custom account name" feature for accounts. This would be ideal for 529s and Trusts. Could be under "basic info" and displayed on accounts view of the profile either underneath product type or in-between account & tax qual type

  17. Go directly to "Activity Details" when creating a new activity

    We want to be able to go straight to the activity details page when creating a new activity. This would create some efficiencies for our team (fewer clicks for activity creation) but, more importantly, it would reduce duplicate email notifications for activities.

    For example, right now, when we click "Add activity" and add the relevant details in the abbreviated "Create Activity" window, attendees get an "activity assigned" notification email as soon as we click "create & edit" and then another "activity updated" email once we actually have the opportunity to get to the activity details screen to add a description…

  18. Auto-create inferred Memberships

    Would love to see a popup window displaying INFERRED memberships based on the contacts existing family/memberships.

    i.e. Barbara and Paul are married and have 2 children. Upon creating an Aunt/Nephew membership for Barbara. A pop-up window appears asking if you'd like to create an Uncle/Nephew membership for Paul, and Cousin/Cousin memberships for their 2 kids.

    Bonus points if the window has dropdowns to change the membership types (for example from 'Sister' to 'Half-Sister') before confirming.

    Please consider this. It would be a massive time-saver!

  19. Ability to add more than two people as account owners

    When assigning ownership of an account to a contact, you can currently only assign two owners. I have several accounts with 3 or more owners, so the ability to add more would be nice.
