  2. activity notification on start date

    How can we receive email notification on the start date of an activity? (i.e. the day that an activity has been scheduled to happen)
    We currently receive email notifications when an activity is assigned and when it has been completed but never on the day that it is supposed to happen. How can we set that up?

  3. Removal of Tag Groups(Bulk Options)

    You can add Tag Groups through Bulk Actions, but can not remove Tag Groups using Bulk Actions. It would make sense to have both the addition and removal of Tag Groups a Bulk Action.

  4. Creating an Activity Should Send ONE Notification

    When creating an activity... Why does person you are assigning it to receives more than one email notification on the activity? You need to click on edit to add the location and notes, therefore I didn't save the activity so the email shouldn't be sent. If I didn't "Save" it I'm not done creating it.

  5. Indicate note was added from dashboard

    I would like for the ability to have dictated messages (mobil assistant / copytalk) show up in the client note section AND at the bottom of the today page so I know the file was inputted without having to manually check it. Maybe have a notation next to it that says filed.

  6. Under Workflow Steps - Where the "Mail Merge" Option is, there should be an "E-Mail Merge" as an option

    When establishing a workflow Step, it asks if you want to do a "Mail Merge". You should also be able to choose to do an E-mail Merge from a template.

  7. Family member relationship

    Two things here...
    1) When a client's marital status is Life Partner, the basic info at the top of their profile lists them as "Married to" when they are not actually married, hence being life partners. So...
    2) In the family member section, can we have a relationship that is Life Partner, but that has the family member stay in the spouse position?

  8. Adding Dependents

    Is there a way to add a dependent to a clients household when the person that we would like to link is already a head of household too? When I try to add a family member it will not populate her name that is already in our data base. It makes me set up a new contact than then all her information is blank if we open it under her parentr.

  9. Active Campaign

    We would like to see a collaboration with an automated marking solution, like Active Campaign, that is updated with our Redtail contacts. We currently have to update our RT contacts and our automated marketing contact lists independently which is redundant.

  10. eMoney Client Tasking

    I would like to use the client tasking feature of eMoney, but I am told by eMoney support that because of my Redtail integration this feature cannot be used. Apparently, Redtail takes over tasks in eMoney and Redtail does not have a category for task assigned to clients. It would be great if this issue was resolved.   11. Show Calendar Color Code in Activity Details "Type" Drop-down

    Show assigned color code assigned per the "Type" of activity selected in the drop down menu within the Activity Detail.

    Additionally, an option for CRM Admin to standardize all color codes selected would be nice.

  13. email history default to note: email received or email sent

    For any email history to also appear as default as a chronological note as either email received or email sent. A huge portion of our client correspondence is via email. As it stands we either have to copy/paste emails into notes (which defeats the purpose of having emails journal archive) or review both notes and email history to understand the correspondence history of a client, which is redundant. The system as it sits today is both unnecessarily time consuming and encourages mistakes and misses.

  14. Capability to delete comment

    I'm able to delete a Note but not a Comment within a Note. It would be nice to be able to delete your own Comments within a 24 hour period. I only delete Notes immediately upon saving it if I need to revise content due to an error. I'd like the same capability with Comments.

    Because the Comments format jams it all up making look like one huge paragraph, sometimes I feel the need to revise a Comment to add additional spaces and symbols to make it easier to read and understand.

  16. Open Activities

    I created a new activity type - outstanding issue to mark those things where we have reached out to the client but not heard back from them so the issue is still outstanding. Normally I'd put this in important information but that field is too easy to ignore (until you fix that, right?). My thought was to just add a date on those activities for the end of next year but I realized I can't easily see that. It doesn't show up on the main contact page, doesn't show up when i click on activities, and there is no quick…

  17. 401k Clients & Prospects

    Make Redtail more user-friendly and appropriate for 401k/403b/Etc. advisor services. If the contact is a business and a client or prospect - it should have options to record: Plan type, Assets, participant count, service providers (recordkeeper/TPA), and plan number. Not information like male/female, age, height, weight, citizenship, etc. None of that information is appropriate to a business,so there should be fields that would automatically change input information required depending on if the contact record was a business or an individual.

  18. there is not an option to add an Employer for a new contact via the mobile app.

    I enjoy RedTail, but would love to have more options via IPad so i can work confidently anywhere. Currently there is not an option to add an Employer for a contact via the mobile app when you are adding someone new. Often you meet someone in the field and you have an ipad with you. Can we consider this?

  19. Turn off email notifications for activities if the only change to the activity is the date (moving it forward--taking it out of past due)

    We utilize activities with multiple attendees. If there are no updates to an activity except a date change, an email notification is still sent to the attendees. Date change only occurs frequently in our office and our email inboxes are being inundated with email notifications that aren't necessary. It would be great if there was a way to only send the email notification if there are changes to the actual details in an activity.

  20. Contact Options - Reports

    Hello. Please make a change to allow the Reports under Contact Options to be customized. It would be fantastic if we could custom select which fields we want to include in these reports. Thanks for your consideration.
