date stamp feature for adding tags
I would like to see a date/time stamp for things added to the CRM such as Tag group or UDF. We are wanting to track exactly when someone was referred to different COIs of ours. We can add a tag stating we referred them to ABC Tax but do not have anything we can pull reports on to say when it was done.

Account Feeds - Cost Basis to show on feeds
Would like to be able to see more details in the account feeds, such as Cost Basis.

Search Engine (Search Anything, Universal Search, Full Database Search)
Redtail is missing a search anything option (full database search) similar to a search engine capability like Google. For example, if a user recalls something like a name, note, or something else they entered into a contact but doesn't recall what field this is in, they should be able to do a database search for that information. Lacking this functionality creates unnecessary work for your customers, and most of your competitors offer this.

Orion Connect and Redtail Data both need to flow to the Orion Planning Application. Right now either one source or the other can create a new plan in Orion Planning, and when it does, either Orion Connect managed accounts won't link to the plan if it is Redtail originated. or if you originate the plan from the Orion Connect feed, the household data OTHER than the primary household member doesn't flow over.

create workflow for more than one contact
It would be nice if we could create a workflow for multiple contacts or from the family group. For example, if I have a married couple that I've meeting with for an annual review It would be nice to have a workflow for the couple instead of for each of them.

Multiple linked contacts in workflows - Display their names, not "2".
Also, have a button that says "link to spouse" if there is a spousal contact present in the database. This would save users from having to search for the spouse.

time zone
Auto-change time zones when traveling on the Redtail Mobile App. Currently there is no way to update the time-zone through preferences on the mobile app. When I am traveling my calendar stays in my home time-zone. Can a feature be added so the calendar either auto-updates to my location or gives me the option to update from the app?

Be able to change calendar color when managing multiple calendars
It would be helpful for those of us who have to manage several calendars simultaneously, to be able to have the option of choosing a different color in our own Redtail settings for each calendar. For instance, if I manage 5 calendars, there is nothing differentiating them when I need to look at all 5 calendars at the same time. This seems like such a basic feature that I was shocked when I realized it's not already available. Are there plans for this? Thank you!!

MailMerge: Make the Spouse Middle Name available as a merge field. This is very important to populating standard merge forms and documents. It's nuts to not have this available!

Family Split Option
If a family unit splits off - child as an adult - or divorce ... easily split off clients onto there own family unit.

Task/ Activity Check Box
On the calendar screen with all of your tasks/activities... each task/activity should have a small check box in a corner, so that you can select multiple tasks/activities at once for drag and drop, delete, re-assign, and re-schedule...the current method is very buried and not time efficient.

activity search bar
Add a search bar for activities so that you can find an activity more quickly on your list. Since not all activities have a client associated, there isn't always a place to go to easily find those activities.

Thinner "regular" text to differentiate bold text
I think we should make the text in descriptions for workflows a little thinner, so it's easier to differentiate BOLD and unbolded text. In the regular description boxes, activities and notes, it is easy to differentiate, but in workflows, it's a little harder to differentiate what is bolded and what is NOT bolded.

Filter Contact Report by Tag Group
It would be convenient to have a Tag Group filter available for Contact Reports.

Add Contact History Tab to Client Profiles
It would be beneficial to have a section on a client's profile where we can record our contacts/attempted contacts with them. I see that there is an "Email history" tab, but this would be for both attempted email and phone correspondence. While this information could be recorded in the "Notes" section, we would prefer to keep that space reserved for things like client meeting notes, summaries of client conversations, etc.

History of Contact items included in Archived items
It would be really great if the history of the contact card item followed the item when it is moved into archives. Right now the only way to "see" the history is to move it back into the non-archived area. Also, if the date an item was moved into archives could somehow label the item, it would help when we need to know that.

Ramsey Pro Portal Integration for SmartVestor Pros
I was wondering if there is any way that someone at Redtail could look into starting an integration with the Ramsey Pro Portal? When a person applies for a nearby SmartVestor on the Ramsey Solutions website, they input their name, email, phone number, city, state, and zip code. On the SmartVestor's (our) end, that information immediately populates to the Ramsey Pro Portal website from which that data can be exported to a .csv file. Instead of manually inputting each prospect or waiting for 25 prospects to apply so that we can use an import spreadsheet, we were wondering if you…

Dynamic Note/Activity Templates
It would be great if we could populate notes/activates with client data rather than having to use mail merge.

Activity Templates - When utilizing Activity Templates, the person you attached to said Activity Template immediately gets an email, but the template is most likely blank or not filled out for that person. Then they get another email after your done filling out the Activity Template. They are getting two emails when the first shouldn't kick out until you actually hit "Create Activity" or "Save Activity". Essentially just remove the first notification email until the activity is actual "saved" then it can kick out the email that the activity was generated for the person attached.
