  1. Be able to remove account types we don't use

    I am all for clean data. We are creating a Redtail Style Guide right now. The section for how to label accounts is unnecessarily long because we have to list account types we can't delete and mark them 'DO NOT USE'. It also makes navigating to the account type we actually need take longer than it needs to. Please let us clean those up (and any other field where you have undeletable options).

  2. Clients Since Subject

    When conducting an advanced search with the specific variables, there should be a column option that displays client since. This information is great to have when conducting advanced searches.

  3. Indicate task notes exist in a workflow

    In many workflows, we have task notes (instructions, templated emails, files etc.) embedded into the templates.
    It would be good to have a visual indication in the main workflow page next to each task, if there are embedded notes. Just a little star or checkmark or something. This way, a user would not have to hover to see if there are embedded TASK notes.

  4. advanced search

    In the advanced search feature, it would be nice to have a way to select multiple "values" instead of creating a new line for each value. For example, if I wanted to search for two contact categories, once I enter "Contact", "Category", "Equal To"; I would then be able to choose both of the categories I want (this would serve as an "AND" function without having to add a separate line).

  5. Workflow Templates - Increase Viewable Entries per Page & Ability to Stay on Current Page upon Refresh

    Give option to view more entries per page on Workflow Templates. Currently only able to view 25 & lacks functionality like contacts search has to view (50, 100, or more). Also, give ability to stay on same page when refreshing page instead of redirecting back to page one.

    "Workflows" should have the ability to reoccur the same as "activities" do.

  7. Undo calendar item move or have movement history

    Currently in week view or day view on the calendar, an activity/task/appointment/etc can be moved with the mouse without having to go in and manually edit the item, this can be very convenient BUT if it is accidentally moved there is no way to know what the original time was. It would be great to have an undo move function, or a way to track the history of the previous time/date of the item.

  8. Activity Template - Add checkboxes, fillable PDF style

    I like the idea of an activity template but I have some processes done now on forms that have nice spots to check off things and in activities I cannot do that. I would love a checkbox bulleted list option like in OneNote. I also would love to be able to make some default activity template text not editable and make it obvious where a person needs to fill out their info. I don't want them deleting 'Account Type - ' to put in (on a new account template) IRA. I also wouldn't mind making some boxes or fields required…

  9. add a new word to status

    When I go into the account number for a client, there are only four items under status
    1. Open
    2. Closed
    3. Pending
    4. Under review

    I would like to add 5. Annuitized.

    We have quite a few accounts that are listed as open. They do not have a balance as they are annuitized. So if we would look at the account we would see that. We would not need to worry as to why there is no balance attached. It is not closed, but yet it is not opened. Once annuitized nothing further can be done to the account,…

  10. Updating opened or assigned workflows to sync to template updates

    When updating a workflow template, existing workflows should have the option to be updated as well, without deleting the existing data. For instance the completed tasks should not be touched. If however, there are additional steps or rewording of steps/tasks, we should have the option to update assigned/opened workflows as well.

  11. Activities by Contact Report - Add Servicing Advisor to Export

    Please add Servicing Advisor to the excel/csv export of the Activities by Contact Report.

    You can filter the visible activities by Servicing Advisor in Activities by Contact Report, but the export does not include the Servicing Advisor.

  12. Improve Document Organization

    I think the Documents tab in Redtail should have a folder system that allows us to put different documents into different folders, similar to Windows. Have a long list of documents sorted by date or account can be pretty difficult to navigate

  13. inserting notes

    It would be so helpful if we can insert a note for the previous month.

    Currently, If I come across something that should have been added previously to a client's profile - I write the date of the note first then the note itself. but this messes up the timeline, in case I need to search the item by date I have to scroll over all the notes to find the note needed.

    Can this be added to redtail.

  14. List TWO Contacts in Things to do Today

    If one contact linked to activity, contact name is shown. If more than one, the link says "X Contacts" where X is the number of contacts. This should be updated so that two contacts also show the full names in the links, there is room to provide two names. Three or more can stay "X Contacts" but two or less should show the names. Most activities have both spouses attached and seeing all activities say "2 Contacts" is inefficient and hard for organizational purposes.

  15. Ring central

    It would be great to have an integration so that when my Ringcentral line rings with a client's number (it would have to be the one in Redtail obviously) their account information would pop up, rather than having to search for them.

  16. Automated Scheduler Integration for Calendar

    The Calendar Needs to be compatable with an Automated Scheduler Application like Calendly.

    This would save a lot of time and allow clients and prospects to book themselves, be sent Zoom Invites Automatically with their confirmation and also be sent meeting reminders.

  19. family tree & relationship within client profile

    Have the ability to state/link who the parents are outside of the current family option. The current option only allows dependents and, if that dependent were to become a client, shows their accounts as well.
    This improvement would help users identify family connections with individuals with divorces parents or a parent(s) that are deceased. It could be displayed in a box similar to "health information" with blanks for "mother:" and "father:_". This plus the "status" option of "related to client" would help bridge name/family changes.

  20. Phone call Relaying/Forwarding integration

    Something I LOVED on a previous CRM was the ability to click the phone number, and it would call your phone, you answered, and it would call that client for you through the phone system (it didn't matter what phone system you used, so individual app integration didn't matter, it just called your phone number to make the call for you). So much easier and faster than dialing the number, and creating a new event/note that I made a call to that person that day. It automatically logged that call and I could add notes.
