  1. workflow Notes & Linked Notes

    We are currently onboarding into Redtail from Tamarac CRM and I'm trying to get our current processes to work within Redtail's workflows and it is a struggle. Our current tasks have a description box like Redtail's but then there is also a follow up notes box as well that can always be added to or edited until that task is completed. Here are the issues we've encountered and my suggestions:
    - With a non-workflow redtail task there is the linked notes section. Why is that not available within a workflow task? Could this be added?

  3. Turn off pop up reminders

    We used to be able to turn off reminders for calendar items. This changed with the last update. Please put this back into preferences. If I want a reminder, I will set it myself.

  4. Combine accounts with multiple funds

    The ability to combine multiple funds under one main account number. For example a 529 linked with LPL comes over as each individual fund position. Would be great to link all the funds under one main account number so there aren't so many funds listed individually in the accounts tab. Would make it more streamlined.

  5. Show multiday activities on today screen every day they span

    If I have a multiday task from the 1st -10th (of any month) the activity currently only shows on the today screen on the 1st. It'd love to be able to see that on the today screen every day from the 1st to 10th. I put some of them like that as I mean to fit them in my schedule sometime in that period but if I don't get to it day 1 I am more likely to lose track and now I can't just work off the today screen (which you should be able to do easier).

  6. Notes that you have been notified of show up under notifcations

    We get emailed if we are notified of a note but there is no way to see a list in the website of the notes that we have been tagged in. I believe that under notes in the today section there should be a place to see all the notes that we have been tagged in. I think it would also be beneficial if they showed up under the bell icon. After all that is where notifcations are supposed to be in the website.

    On workflows, once a step is complete, have the tasks associated with the next step automatically update to a due date of when the previous step is completed or when that next step becomes active. For example, Step 1 started on 3/25/2024, Step 1 completed on 4/1/2024, Step 2 becomes active 4/1/2024, tasks associated with Step 2 have a due date of 4/1/2024.

  9. Please add a number of reports under a new Database Cleanup category

    I'd love to see reports for database cleanup. For certain things I can make quicklists for this effect (clients without DOB, SSN) but for others I cannot like clients without an address or phone number (since those searches are broken).

  10. Need more operand options when setting up automations

    When setting up permissions I used advanced search and applied backoffice permissions to everyone where the writing or servicing advisor wasn't blank. I want to do an automation with the same thing but that operand function isn't available and I'll need to put in so many criteria to do the same thing and when we add new advisors I'll need to set them up as well.

  11. forward email from email archive

    We often have to follow up on clients that were contacted by someone else in the office. In this follow up email we include the original email that was sent. It would great to include a forward option on the email archive so we can open the email that was sent and follow up with the client to show that we have already tried to contact them.

  12. Ability to click and drag the Redtail Support Chat Icon

    While I utilize and appreciate the support chat feature in the bottom right of the screen, it would be nice to have the ability to drag and move that icon to a different corner or area of my screen.

    I often have the browser in a smaller window when having multiple items open on my monitor and accidentally click the support chat icon when attempting to hit other links instead. Having the ability to move the icon to the left of my screen would be beneficial, as I do not select items in that area as often as I do…

  13. A calender invite that will trigger a workflow and invite the client to the meeting

    I am inviting a client to a meeting who is in retail. I want to populate the invite in my activities, have it linked to a workflow for the meeting, and be able to send them a calendar invite, the way you can inside of Google Calendar. I don't want to have to create a separate workflow for the meeting, nor do i want to leave retail and update a meeting that has linked to google calendars and add an attendee. I want one app that acts as my hub for contact management, task, workflow, calendar and communications.

  14. Confetti Feature When Completing a Task

    I NEED NEED NEED confetti to go across my screen when I complete a task. I would enjoy Redtail so much more. I've seen this easy-to-add software used on Canvas before!

  15. Self-Scheduling Feature for Clients

    This would be extremely helpful to our firm (and many others). It would give us the ability to do everything through Redtail and eliminate third party websites.

    Using third party websites interferes with our workflow procedures and leaves a lot of room for error. If everything was seamless through Redtail, we could avoid workflow errors and missing contact links. Having a self scheduling feature would also eliminate synching issues that we come across a lot with third party integrations.

    Features that would be very helpful, if self-scheduling would be implemented:

    • Allow clients to schedule a meeting themselves (like Calendly)

  16. Business Clients - additional info needed.

    1. Business Clients need to have a field to list the "Owners".

    2. We have many that offer Simple IRA's that we use Keywords to pull reports, but it would be great to have a field on the contact card that allows this information at a glance.

  18. More contrast on Contact Record Page, too much white- boxes run together

    One suggestion I'd make with the latest update is readjusting the contrast in colors on the contact page for each individual client. Currently there is minimal contrast between the different boxes of Contact Card, Contact Details, Adding a Note, etc. It makes it difficult to see where boxes start and end now, things start to run together now.

  19. More Filters for Workflows Reports

    It would be very helpful if we could filter workflows by more categories in workflow reports including roles such as Advisor/Associate Advisor and by the current step. Additionally for the date range if we could have an all past due date range, this would be great. It would also be helpful to update a saved filter instead of having to create a new saved filter and remove the old after making edits.

  20. Primary/Lead and Secondary/Assist "assigned to" options for Activities

    I would like to be able to have a Primary and Secondary label for the "assigned to" individuals. We often have tasks assigned to two people and sometimes we duplicate efforts. It would be helpful if the creator of the activity could assign who he wants to take the lead as Primary or Lead. Alternatively, if I have an activity with two people assigned but the second is just there as an FYI, it would be great if I could say I'm taking the lead so the other person knows not to work the activity.
