  2. dont delete activity when multiple users are in same activity

    I am baffled that I was told this is not a glitch. But, when two users are updating one task simultaneously, one of them will simply be ignored, and none of their new data will be captured in the task. they will have no idea the task was not updated unless they quality control every item and spend an hour each day making sure redtail did capture what redtail was supposed to capture. see ticket 992803 for background if you want

  3. Automations IF conditions...

    Why are we unable to use any of the IF conditions across the different trigger events? EX for a trigger event of Activity Added, I can only use IF conditions that revolve around Activities. A trigger event of Contact Status change will only allow IF conditions revolving around Contact information.

    What I need is the ability to have a trigger of an Activity Added allow me to use IF conditions from Contact info, such as category, status etc.

    Summary: If the IF conditions are available in one instance they should be available in all instances it seems.

  4. Copy Roles selection to the Spouse in a new contact

    Now that you can select Roles in the Contact Add Screen, could the system copy those Roles to the spouses record, if they are also setup in the same screen? I noticed that Permissions copy over, but the Roles did not.

  5. Set Roles when Creating new Contact

    When adding a new contact, we can set the permissions (which is a great addition, thank you!) but you can't set the roles without going into the contact page. It would be useful to be able to set the roles there in the create screen because we have workflows that automate when a new contact is added. Right now they default to one person, because if the workflow automates and the roles aren't set, it assigns to no one.     We would like to set up some monthly or quarterly reminders, for specific clients, and it would be nice to set this up in a schedule to go out in advance since it is the same reminder

  10. If conditions true options in automation

    Love to see more options in the "If...conditions true" lists.. such as:

    Category = (A, A+, B etc)
    Date of birth is equal to, greater than, less than

    So much more can be done with these automations!!

  11. Show All Family and Memberships Relationships on the Same Page so that I can track Multiple Generations

    The Family/household page provides a nice tree of relationships for dependents. However, when the other members become clients it creates a conflict and we must move them to a seperate contact or the head of household for children overrides address contact fields. We then must use Memberships page- which has NO easy view.

    I am asking that all relationships show on the family page regardless of dependent status by having a dependent option on setup. The view would be maintained including parents grandparents kids inlaws etc. But contact data could be dependent on head of household or not dependent based…

  12. Sorting in Memberships

    It would be nice if under Memberships, All Family are lumped together and then all other memberships are lumped together. This would be very helpful in making the report cleaner.

  15. Notes to head of household automatically copy to spouse's contact

    It would be nice to have notes automatically post to the head of household's spouse with having to "copy to another contact".

  16. Print Work Flow Template

    It would be helpful if we could print out Template Workflows. It would be a great resource to be able to print it out and have to be able to edit for approval or to be able to put in a book as a SOP style handout.

  17. Fluid Role Reassignment in workflows...

    As im going thru workflow tasks and playing with teams and roles, I see that if I have a workflow task set up on a team and the workflow is active, if i swap a team member out it reassigns the tasks automatically. If I attempt the same thing with Roles, the Advisor for example, this does not reassign the task to the new advisor. it seems that this behavior should be consistent across all teams and roles.

  18. email history default to note: email received or email sent

    For any email history to also appear as default as a chronological note as either email received or email sent. A huge portion of our client correspondence is via email. As it stands we either have to copy/paste emails into notes (which defeats the purpose of having emails journal archive) or review both notes and email history to understand the correspondence history of a client, which is redundant. The system as it sits today is both unnecessarily time consuming and encourages mistakes and misses.

  19. tax bracket

    The CFP Board and many states require Financial planners to collect Net worth, tax bracket and income for all clients before advising them. When I am audited by the state, I am required to provide them with a list of all my clients and these items. Redtail has the Estimated tax bracket field, but it doesn't allow us to run a report on this field. It would be helpful to be able to pull this info since its easy to remember to put in there.
