  1. User Rights - Edit Contact Records

    There needs to be several more user rights options. Add the ability for the database administrator to allow or disallow a user from editing a contact record. If you want to centralize the process in your office for who gets to edit records this is the way. There is currently a user right option to delete a record. Someone could still go into the record a compromise the data within the profile. Its the same as deleting it. We need this ability to turn on and off for specific database users.

  2. Fluid Role Reassignment in workflows...

    As im going thru workflow tasks and playing with teams and roles, I see that if I have a workflow task set up on a team and the workflow is active, if i swap a team member out it reassigns the tasks automatically. If I attempt the same thing with Roles, the Advisor for example, this does not reassign the task to the new advisor. it seems that this behavior should be consistent across all teams and roles.

  3. Red is a distressing color, please allow alternative colors like blue.

    I know this may seem trite, BUT stop using the color red/gray and/or allow other color alternatives to the template. I left your CRM because it's red and distracting and stressful to look at all day. As humans, we are conditioned that the color red is bad, or we should beware. It's stressful to look at red. Please allow us to customize the colors, it isn't that hard to code. Drab gray and red are terrible colors to look at all day.   4. Sorting in Memberships

    It would be nice if under Memberships, All Family are lumped together and then all other memberships are lumped together. This would be very helpful in making the report cleaner.

  5. Select 'Auto withdrawals' (checkbox) in Update Account to show that auto-RMDs or other systematic withdrawals are active for this account

    Similar to 'Tax Qualified' checkbox in Update Account area, Add checkbox for 'Auto Withdrawals' that indicate that systematic auto-withdrawals are active with this account, or remind Admin to initiate an annual withdrawal (on a date). [a start date would be nice, too.]
    Then dropdown a section to indicate checkboxes for 'RMDs,' and 'Fixed withdrawals' (choosing either or both); then checkboxes or dropdown for 'monthly,' 'quarterly,' or 'annual' withdrawals with a specified date. Need to know from where income is being withdrawn. mz

  6. Add an authentication app option for two-factor authentication

    Please add an option to use an authentication app (such as Norton VIP Authenticator or Google Authenticator) for two-factor authentication. IMO, it's much easier for the user., Most importantly, according to digital security experts, it's the most secure option for 2FA, which is clearly crucial for RT CRM, given the data you host.

  7. workflow/Task (Option to hide completed tasks)

    It would be really great if we had the option to HIDE tasks that are already completed under a workflow for a specific contact. I have workflows that have over 20 plus tasks and many of them are complete. It would be helpful to have a button to hide the complete ones so you can see which ones are still outstanding that need to be worked on under that workflow. Gets a little busy on the eyes with that many tasks clogging up the screen.

  8. Be able to remove account types we don't use

    I am all for clean data. We are creating a Redtail Style Guide right now. The section for how to label accounts is unnecessarily long because we have to list account types we can't delete and mark them 'DO NOT USE'. It also makes navigating to the account type we actually need take longer than it needs to. Please let us clean those up (and any other field where you have undeletable options).

  9. An account advanced search that allows exporting accounts and displays account instead of contacts.

    we have a contact advance search(what we have now, pulls contacts) but we should have an account advanced search that allows users to see accounts, not contacts based on the search criteria so when they export it's only the accounts in the list.

  10. add ability to sort / filter activities by a contact's status or contact's category (e.g. segment)

    we have our clients segmented into 4 categories and it would be really helpful to be able to look at activities, especially past due activities by client segment. If we could filter the past due activities by contact category that would allow us to to see what outstanding activities remain by client service tier

  11. Client Record/Personal Info Automation

    It would be helpful if Redtail had the capability to send out a link via email to a new contact for them to type in their basic info and have it automatically integrated/inputted to update that client's Redtail contact record or create a new one. It would automate the process of obtaining info such as full name, DOB, SSN, address, gender, phone number, email, marital status, employer, financial info (net worth, bank info), beneficiaries, etc.

    I am thinking that we can send a link to a contact, they open the link, type in all of the info, submit it, and…

  12. Add Ongoing Activities Tab

    Add an Ongoing activities tab for activities that have started but haven't ended yet. Currently, if an activity spans multiple days, it ends up in your "Past Due" Activities.

    An Ongoing activities tab would allow for easier activity organization and efficiency.

  13. Show All Activities Yet to be Completed

    Instead of only showing Activities Due Today, allow us to filter the date range for outstanding Activities (past due and xx days in the future) and save that preference, so we don't have to manually go in and filter the results each time.

  14. Written Agreements Review Addtions

    I want to add more customization allowing me add additional forms to that section. My firm needs an OFAC, NAF, and CRS form and I would like to be able to have those dates on my CRM.

  15. CRS

    Thank you for adding the Forms CRS  fields, however, the location of the fields isn't placed logically in the profile. We wanted to request that you change the location to the Written Agreements Review under Know Your Client.
    Creating a task to remember to enter this data is an added step that we are hoping can be shortcut.

  16. Allow activities to automatically roll forward every day

    We just transitioned from ACT. In ACT all activities that were not completed during the day automatically rolled forward to the following day. There was no need to check for incomplete activities in ACT. It would be very helpful to incorporate this feature into RedTail.

  18. workflow task due date

    In response to another post "Workflow Template - Assign Task Due Date," I understand that the timeline for a workflow is set by the steps, but it would be helpful to be able to pre-determine due dates of tasks or at least when manually going in to edit a task, that step due date shows so you can make sure your task due date isn't set too early or too late.

  20. let's talk bubble for support chat

    It would be nice to be able to move the "Let's talk" bubble in the bottom right corner. Sometimes it hides information that I need to see.
