UDF automation action item
If a status is changed (already trigger), then an a UDF (YES/NO) would be automatically connected as an action item.
For example, if status is marked as "client", then a UDF saying asking about Newsletter opt-in would automatically put "yes". Then you can change for the exceptions since most clients want your newsletter.

We would like to be able to customize the columns on opportunity reports (add/delete)
Currently, the in place columns are not customization and only include a portion of the identifiers. We would like to be able to customize these columns to show additional identifier (ex. Projected Revenue, etc..)

Trusted Contact Field on Contact Card
Can you PLEASE add a field for Trusted Contact information on the Contact Record card? Also, please add a check box that can be marked if the client declines to provide this information. Thank you!

More Automation Triggers!
Suggestions for things that would trigger an automation:
1. Completion of a workflow (ex: it would trigger a new workflow to be added)
2. Service agent changed/added (so if a contact is created without a service agent or the service agent is changed something could be triggered, like the adding of a workflow)

Timer
Create a "History Time Spent" report, showing the time spent on tasks billed by the hour (i.e. financial planning).

notes report filter
Please add the ability to also filter the type of activity. We can filter the category (review, acct notes, general, etc) but not specific activities. I would like to have a report where I can see the notes that may relate to the review category but only want notes for the appointment activity and not see notes for phone calls and others. I can run an activity report but the only notes that show there are anything entered in the description box, not any notes that have been attached.

"Estimated Tax Information" customization
We would like to be able to customize the "Estimated Tax Information" box in Redtail on a contact record. We would like to add a line for things like "Ordinary Income" and "Taxable Income" and take out "Estimated Taxes." This way we can run more robust reports on tax information.

Mask PII (SSN, DOB, account numbers) from certain users
We would love to utilize virtual assistant services to handle some of our administrative work. However, we need to make sure they NEVER see any personal ID information (SSN, DOB, Account Numbers). Can you please add a restircted user security level that accomplishes this?

Need to able to restrict employees from disabling 2 factor
There should be a way to restrict people from enabling a device as a trusted device. By allowing this, one would bypass 2 factor. There is too much secure info in the CRM to allow this.

Enable user defined fields to have a customizable order
I think it is key to enable user defined fields to have a customizable order, not just alphabetical. This would allow users to format and better fit UDF's to their specific needs. I know that we are evaluating other options for our CRM needs because of the lack in customization with UDF's, if there were more options on this front, it would allow us to stay with Redtail.

Automation that would Trigger Roles being Populated upon Adding Servicing Advisor
Upon entering a Servicing Advisor/Writing Advisor in contact record, RT would automatically populate the Roles field (of the 3 individuals for that Servicing/Writing Advisor's team). It is double work now to enter Servicing Advisor/Writing Advisor, then go in and manually complete the Roles fields for every new client record entered.

Add "On Creation Date" to the Step Due in a workflow Step.
When you create a workflow, you are given the option of setting the Target Date a some point "After Creation Date". So, if you set it to 0 days after creation date, the workflow sets the target date as today. HOWEVER, if you set it up that way and then use automation to trigger it, and that automation triggers when an activity is set and the condition is appointment, EVEN THOUGH the workflow target date is set for today, the workflow target date is set at the future appointment date.
This makes it impossible to have a workflow automatically trigger…

I need additional Mail Merge Fields
We want to create a custom mail merge template to use in place of the Confidential Personal Profile Form. There are multipe fields that I want to merge into this custom form that are not available in the current mail merge fields and therefore I will have a lot of info to add after the merge is complete.

Annual Review Report
Can we get a comprehensive report to use for annual reviews? Outside of gathering information, a CRM should provide users of all experience levels a snapshot of the data that tells a quick story to address client questions and issues, train new staff, complete client reviews and quickly bring any successor advisor up to speed with the overall plan and purpose of service. You have most of the necessary content to accomplish this. If you could just neatly combine it all on the Confidential Personal Profile Report, you would have a very powerful tool.

list two contacts when attached to note/activity, not just '2 contacts'
I realize you like to say 2 contacts when both spouses are attached to an activity to save space but I'd love it if you only did that when 3 people are attached. I am trying to be good with my notes and attach both parties so they each have a record of it but then on printed reports, I can't tell who the activity or note is for. So list both names at two, summarize at 3.

annual review
It would be extremely helpful to have an annual review tab for contacts with specific fields or the ability to upload the PDF form we use for annual reviews that can be filled online and saved to the client's documents.
The fields we currently use are:
- Account numbers reviewed
- Meeting date
- Review completed - in person, e-mail, Phone, video conference (pick)
- Reviewed Financial Status - with radials (Did not Review, Reviewed no change, Reviewed and changes proposed) Then a box for comment.

automation opportunity - Change stage updates contact status
Using the Opportunities section is tedious. To help reduce all the manual inputs, when an Opportunity Stage is changed to Closed-LOST, have the system update the contacts Status to the appropriate category. It would also be helpful to have lost inactive. It would be great if, stage changed to WON, trigger automation to update contact status to client.

Auto-Assign CSA Role Based on Advisor
It would be nice to, upon creation of a new client record, assign the CSA Role automatically based on the Writing and Servicing Advisor combinations. i.e. If the new contact's Writing Advisor is John and Servicing Advisor Joe, the CSA role would automatically assign to Jane.

Sort Accounts & Assets by Balance
We would like the ability to sort by balance in two areas:
1) Contact Level - To sort accts within a contact from highest (at top) to lowest value.

Trusted Contact
Under the contact record, can we please add fields for "Trusted Contacts"? We need to record the name, address, phone, and email of Trusted Contacts in a way that is easy to find. We are currently adding it to the "Important Information", but having a specific field in the contact info would be more helpful. It would also be nice if there was a checkbox somewhere that you could click if Trusted Contact is "declined", as this is something required going forward.
