color code workflow
Allow color coding workflows based on "Assigned To".

Retirement date alert
My office is adding in all clients retirement date, and it would be nice to be able to get an alert for upcoming client retirement date so that a manual activity does not have to be created.

Custom Export Include Assigned Permission
It would be helpful to be able to include the assigned permissions in a custom export to make it easier to review which contacts are assigned to which permissions.

Tag group - most recent at the top and on the first page
It would be nice to have the Tag Group list auto sorted so the most recent is at the top of the first page, not list in alphabetical order. Or better yet, the ability to sort according to the existing columns.

Create an integration with Calendly that will allow for you to create notes in Redtail
I would like to see the ability to have Calendly and Redtail more integrated rather than it just be activities and other information. It would be nice if we could have it integrated in a way that would allow for us to have Calendly create a note in Redtail when we have sent a specified client a link invite. Just to have the option to keep track of things better through our CRM with a notes feature, especially if we could customize what goes on the note. It would be greatly helpful

Be able to add a linked note after an activity is completed
We have been able to add linked notes to an activity after it was completed for well over a year since I have been using Redtail. I just found out it was a bug and we weren't supposed to be able to do so. This is so much easier and quicker and many less steps to be able to add a linked note after an activity is completed. It should be an available option.

to be able to search by a nick name or a street address or even a email address
If we could search by contact nickname, address or email address for marketing it would really save a lot of time searching information that might need to be updated.

Form CRS Tracking at the Contact Level instead of Account Level
I looked over and read your release notes about the tracking of Form CRS in Retail and I think that it is in the wrong place. We were under the impression that the form has to be given at the time of the recommendation whether the contact works with us or not. Only being able to track the form under an account does not capture the full scope of what is needed. I would suggest putting this in the Misc Info tab or making a new tab only for Reg BI. We would still need to be able to export…

License Tracking
It would be great to receive reminders to track agent licenses, or at least be able to run a license report so that we could periodically check to see if a license needs to renewed or if CE needs to be completed.

tasks
It would be helpful to add an activity and not have a specific date & time required as an input. This would help with outstanding tasks and not clutter up the calendar. We would like to use RedTail as a task tracker without having to build workflows. We would like to simply assign a task to an employee with no due date and no workflow steps.

calendar
Add a feature to hover over the event on the calendar to then "Save & Complete", "Delete", etc. so you don't have to click into the event to do that.

Display database name in header/quicker switch
Displaying the database name you are using on the header line would be extremely convenient. Currently you need to go into the menu to "switch databases" to see exactly where you are. It would also be helpful to switch between 2 databases quicker.

Add Keywords/Tags to Activities
We wish we could add tags or keywords to activities. Right now, we use categories to differentiate between things like client reviews, new account appointments, and processing tasks (RMD, Account Update, etc). For something like an account review, our advisors would like an easy way to note all the topics discussed. Retirement plans, general account review, estate planning, health insurance - these are all topics that may come up in a client review meeting (but not every time). For now they're just adding regular notes and relying on text searches. But if there were a way to add this option…

linking documents
Please allow us to link a document to multiple activities without creating duplicate documents in that clients contact record. For example, If I have one document and I need to Link it to 3 separate activities for that same client, then it saves it 3 times in the documents tab.

To do list
Please create a task lists that more of a running list like a to do list. I have to go to Notion or other app to see my things to do for the day. I dont want it in my calendar or part of a workflow. Thanks

Send invite to contact when scheduling an appointment
Most programs today allow you to send in invite to the contact you have schedule some type of appointment with to add it to their calendar and accept or decline it. Why doesn't Redtail do this?

automated task creation
We would like to have an automation based on a step in the workflow being completed. This would be incredibly valuable in our onboarding process without having to track progress in multiple programs.

When adding a note to a client, it would be helpful if there was a prompt to link the note to their spouse.
I often forget to link a spouse to a note. For example; I send an email to a couple, and add it as a note in RedTail. Then, a few days later I might be in the spouses' account, and not see the note about the email I had just sent them. I don't always want to have notes in both spouses accounts, but it would be helpful if I was prompted to save it to the spouse when saving the original note.
