  1. Adding a strikethrough option similar to how you can bold and underline text

    I think it would be helpful to add a strikethrough text option just like how there is a bold text and underline text option. This would allow you to strikethrough the next when you have completed a step in the description box of an activity.

  4. Rearrange, move and sort the order of the phone numbers and addresses in Contact Card

    Create a way to rearrange, move and sort the order of the phone numbers and addresses in Contact Card (not archive). Despite a thread that said this had been done, I don't believe it has.

  5. Total Accounts Chart on Account page should be just open accounts

    Clicking on the "Today" page, and then "Accounts" gives you a circle chart that lists Accounts by Type. I feel this chart should only list the "open" accounts, as if they are "closed" then it isn't an active account under management (aum) anymore.

  6. Broadcast Email Font capabilities

    There should be a way to change the font size within the broadcast email that does not put the font in bold print. Currently when you change the format to a Heading sized font it all is received in bold. It would be useful to have the option to simply change the font size as we send emails to some older clients who need larger font. Ticket number: 1174480

  8. Provide a link to client to schedule a meeting during a block of time on calendar

    Allows us to create a link to send out to multiple clients allowing them to choose a time slot during a specific period of time to schedule a meeting. Once selected that time slot would disappear from the options to the other clients.

  9. Allow to notify when putting notes into a task from the calendar

    Please allow for notifying a member when putting notes in on a task from the calendar also would be very helpful if you could individually notify more than one person.

  10. Automation

    The option to update/set field for UDF does not currently exist in Redtail. You can set a field with the trigger being "Activity Added", but the options of the field to update is limited to:
    Activity Type
    Activity Category
    Activity Importance
    Activity Priority
    So does not include a UDF field.

    Also, we would want the trigger to be Activity Category marked as completed - not added, so the UDF field would be updated once Activity was completed. Otherwise we would have to remember to delete, if Activity is cancelled. Currently a UDF as Review date field for each year. We…

  11. NEXT REVIEW

    When setting up the Next Review feature, it seems the option to update to annually on a specific day has disappeared. (Ie. annually on the first Monday of April). I can choose a date for annual review (ie. April 15 can be scheduled for subsequent years), but not the first Monday of April.

    Also, it would be nice to keep the first review (ie. April 15, 2016) and then be able to change it in subsequent years. For example, this year we weren't able to meet until June 1, 2020. Going forward, I want to change it to June 1,…

  12. trusted contact

    I know others have suggested/requested adding a Trusted Contact field. Let me share how this would make my life easier:

    We use LaserApp to complete our forms for TD Ameritrade. I have to then go back and add the Trusted Contact information to each application manually. This takes time and allows room for error.

    I know you don't just "snap your fingers" and have it done, but I hope this request is at the top of the wish list. Thank you for all you do to help us manage so much data. Your work is appreciated.

  13. Name of family account holder, column for accounts page

    On accounts page, please include column for the owner of account. When including family accounts, all accounts are listed. It can be difficult to tell which family member is the primary/owner of the account when there are multiple family members and multiple accounts

  15. Ability to edit font in every redtail application i.e. templates, workflows, notes, tasks etc.

    more options to edit font like add color or change size when creating templates, adding notes, creating tasks etc. would make easier to create instructions others can follow as well as quicker when searching or something and visually pleasing

  16. Generating the next step/task in a workflow.....

    Instead of showing ALL the steps/tasks due on the calendar, a step/task should not show up on the calendar until the previous step/task is completed. Example: Step 1/Task 1 (marked completed) then the next Task 2 within the Step 1 is generated. Once all the tasks have been generated 1 at a time and completed then the Step 2 would generate. That way the calendar is not bombarded with so many tasks. This is especially helpful when so many steps/tasks are generated for a multitude of clients.

  17. Orion Advisor Integration - Link the Redtail client back to the Orion Household during auto-link

    When using autolink to load Orion accounts to Redtail, also automatically link the client back to the household in Orion so the 2-way synch will work without manually having to link every household. We auto-linked about 800 accounts and then found out we have to go through the clients one by one and manually link them back to a household in Orion. The matching Social Security number was the key to uploading all the accounts from Orion. Why not then link the Redtail client to the Orion household at that point?

  18. Remove account balances on beneficiary report

    Give the option to remove account balances on the beneficiary reports. This could be to be able to check and uncheck them in the Custom Reports or just removed them completely from the Beneficiary Reports. Account balances have very little to do with what beneficiaries a client chooses.

  19. Life/domestic partner option in Family (in lieu of Spouse)

    Add the option for life partner or domestic partner when creating a family in place of Spouse. The Other option doesn't show up in the Family on the "other" person's contact record. Utilizing memberships takes extra steps and you have to search for it by clicking More, then Memberships. Any time saved is beneficial.

  20. Automatic Spouse Contact Record Should Inherit Permissions

    An automation exists to permission new contact records to the associated advisor, so other advisors cannot see that advisor's contacts. This is a compliance requirement and Redtail has this functionality. However, When a spouse record is created automatically from a contact, it does not get the permissions that are assigned to the associated Contact - even though is has the same information as the contact that the automation uses to assign permissons.
    This is causing a compliance issue as the spouse record can be seen by other advisors. Can you please 'enhance' the system to apply the same permissions to…
