  1. customize financial information

    Ability to customize Financial Information section under Know Your Client. Each office / broker dealer has its own requirements for disclosing holdings. For Example:
    Real Estate vs Securities
    DPP vs Non-DPP
    Liquid vs Illiquid

    We should be able to customize the verbiage so we can use the information for filling forms, compliance or marketing.

  2. Have Household Keywords

    I'd love to be able to have keywords that are applied to the household as a whole, not just the individual person. We use monthly keywords for our review months, and keep husband/wife the same. Right now, we have to add that keyword to both people, and then update on both if we need to change it. I'd love to have an option for household keywords, that automatically assigns that same keyword to all parties in the household (kids, etc...)

  3. Bulk Printing of Confidential Personal Profile

    It would be great if we could Bulk Printing of Confidential Personal Profile. Going into each family is very time consuming.

  4. Automation based on UDFs/Dates

    It would be great if we were able to set up automation triggers based on if a UDF date field expires. For example, if we want to do a cash flow review every 2 years and we have a UDF that shows the date of the last cash flow review, it would be awesome to have an activity created once the last cash flow review hits the 2 year mark.

  5. Organize task list

    I would like to be able to move items in my task list around so they are listed in order of priority for my day. I know I can move things around in workflows, however it would be helpful to order my task list so I don't have to continually scan the list for the high priority items. Instead, I could start at the top of my list and just work my way down.

  6. Head of Household Display

    Please add some sort of indication on the client profiles for the head of household. Maybe a green box around their profile picture or even just say "head of household" beside their name. I don't care what it looks like but we need some distinction.

  7. Allow Tasks to be moved between workflow Steps

    I understand that the order of Tasks within a single Step is not terribly important (all of a Step's Tasks are assigned at the same time, when the prior step is completed). I, like many other users, would like to be able to re-order them anyway, even if it is merely cosmetic.

    But the real issue of concern is the lack of ability to move a Task between workflow Steps. So, if you realize that Task F actually needs to be under Step 3, rather than Step 4, you have to manually re-create it under Step 3, then delete it…

  8. Show whose database you're in..

    Please add a feature that shows you which database you are in.

    i.e. have the advisor's name on the top of the page to the right of the search contacts bar.

    For those of us who need to switch back and forth a lot it's easy to forget which advisor's database you are in. Also if you could make it simpler to switch databases (like a one click switch instead of 3 clicks) that would also be much appreciated!

  9. Contact Permission Checkbox

    When adding Contact Permissions, it would be much easier to select what users/teams need to have permission with a checkbox list than to click "Add", select one, click "Add Permission," then go do it all over again for as many need to be assigned.

  10. add a workflow to bulk actions

    Since you don't have triggers for every situation. It would be nice to bulk add workflows to contacts. Adding multiple clients to a tax season workflow let's say. It could either be add workflows in bulk or attach them to multiple clients in bulk.

  11. Add Revenue to the Opportunities dashboard and reports

    Add Revenue to the Opportunities dashboard top line... some firms are less worried about assets and more focused on revenue.

  12. Holdings Report

    Please provide holding name and holding value for custom exports. I know I can run such a report out of my Morningstar Office program but I am finding some differences in values from Morningstar to Redtail. It would be helpful to be able to run this type of custom export to see where problems may exist.

  13. Husband & Wife as One

    Many of my married clients share everything, some even only have one email that they share. What is difficult currently with RedTail is that everything is recorded separately. So notes, emails, documents, reminders, etc. are only connected to one of the two contacts. It would be extremely helpful if we had an option to link the two so that everything that I see in one contact (notes, emails, documents, reminders, etc.) will also show on the other. So no matter which of the two spouses that I open, I will be able to see everything.

    It would also be nice…

  14. Linked Notes in Opportunities

    Would be faster to add Linked Notes in Opportunities how it is currently setup in Activities.

    This would prevent from having to open a new page just to add a Note and see the list of all notes from the Main Opp page.

  15. Bulk Action in Reports

    Need the option to run Bulk Actions when I have results from a report.

    I run the Contacts Not Permissioned report for example and I'd like to assign from the results but I do not have this option, other reports as well should result with the check box to the left like search results

  16. Client Review Report

    A report including the following information, which is critical for a client review would be GREAT!! A custom export doesn't work for this type of information. Thanks!

    -Name, phone, email address, DOB, category (select/elite, etc)
    -Accounts & Balances
    -Opportunities
    -Client Review items (1st review, Review, Next Review Date)
    -Written agreements review
    -Strategic Allocation Model ( Objective, time horizon, risk tolerance)
    -Estimated Tax Info(AGI, estimated taxes, tax year, estimated tax bracket)
    -Estimated Net Worth (total Assets, Total liabilities)

    Important Info:
    -Personal Interests
    -Employments (Occupation, gross annual income, retire date)
    -Professional Contacts (CPA, attorney, etc.)

    it would be nice if redtail could send an email template automatically on a client's account anniversary/annual review. Right now I have to manually send a template to the client.

    On the accounts page, i would love to be able to sort by account type or company. the account number is actually the least helpful thing to sort by.

  19. Send Opportunities Notifications

    Have the system send out an email to the person an opportunity is assigned to as a reminder that it needs to be followed up on.... this was previously posted and said that it was completed, but it actually was not.

  20. Custom Export more spouse fields

    When creating a new custom export, all of the spouse's information is not available to add. i.e. retirement date, age etc. All of the information is in redtail but cannot be exported. Can we add those two fields?
