  2. calendar activities not showing the entire title

    Attention Redtail Team: The activities on the Calendar REALLY need to list the entire description of the activity without hovering over it. The text NEEDS to wrap!! Are you guys working on this? This has probably been the number one complaint since the update. We've already missed a few things for appointments because WE NEED TO SEE THE ENTIRE TITLE!! Please get on this ASAP!

  3. Notification for Past Due Tasks

    One prob we have is people not leaving notes after a review/activity that is several days past the end time/date.
    In Automation, please add TRIGGER EVENT = ACTIVITY PAST DUE, and then give us a way to select IF ALL CONDITIONS = WORD SEARCH, then we can (like notes) use a FILTER and search open review activities over 24-48 hrs past end time/date so we can automatically notify a User (either advisor or assistant) to get it completed. Almost like Mom reminding us to take the trash out, but automated.

  4. Account UDFs Group Packages

    For certain types of accounts (Variable Annuity, IRAs, Managed Accounts, etc.) it would really help administratively if you could select a certain Account UDF package.

    This could be designed by the admin on the account, and whenever a new account is added for data entry, the admin assistant could select the proper group package for ALL appropriate UDFs to be loaded into the type of the account.

  6. memberships

    Rename Memberships to Relationships. The definition of membership doesn't seem appropriate "the state of being a member, as of a society or club". Relationship is defined as "a connection, association, or involvement" which makes more sense. Many individuals new to Redtail get confuse by this.

  7. Assiging multiple users to a task/activity

    Prior to your latest release, we used to be able to assign 2 users to a task/activity right when entering the task. Now we have to enter the activity, then go back into it to assign a second person to it. This leaves room for error and makes what used to be a one step process, a 2 step process.

  8. Drip Marketing

    Be able to periodically space out marketing emails to your clients. Being able to select a hand full of marketing emails to your clients and set specific dates for when the emails are to be sent out.
    -Constant communication with clients
    -No need to manually send marketing emails
    -Ability to send out reminders months in advance

  9. UDF for a dollar amount, so that it adds a "$" every time, and to automatically separate thousands with a comma.

    Add a custom UDF to include a "$", and separate thousands with a comma automatically so you could type:
    10000
    and, once saved, it would automatically update to:
    $10,000

  11. Ability to set filters on default search results

    I would love to be able to set filters for my "Search Contacts" so that when I search from the box at the top of the screen, I would see only a specific status (i.e. Client). I would appreciate not having to wade through Closed Clients, Children of Clients, Cold Leads, etc., with the same name every time I search for a client.

  12. Contact

    When clicking on Contacts.... We have a limited number of view options: Name, Status, Category, Source, Type, SrvAdvisor, WrtAdvisor.

    It would be nice to be able to change those preferences as to allow for a quicker view.and customization.

    For example: a UDF Field, a phone number, an email, etc.

    We already have the option to link accounts, contacts, and notes to activities. It would be nice to be able to link client email's to a note or activity to link information/completion of tasks.

  14. When printing a Confidential Personal Profile, print ALL addresses whether home, mailing, additional 2nd home addresses, etc

    it would be great to be able to customize the left menu bar on the Contact's page so we can put the items we use the most at the top and not have to click "more"

  16. Client Interaction Heatmap

    Something that would be cool is if there was a list of clients that was arranged so I could visualize who I haven't interacted with in a while.
    For clients whom I've recently seen, their name would come up as red/orange/yellow (hot) indicating I've just dealt with them. For clients whom I haven't dealt with in a while, their name would be purple/blue (cold) to indicate that I need to give them some attention.

  18. Add a 'Contact Category Change' Trigger Event for Automations

    Just like the title states, adding a trigger event for Category changes would be incredible. Additionally, in the long run, being able to have unique trigger events, that are inputed by the user.

    Our office would like the ability to analyze broadcast email data. IE. Who is opening our emails? How many emails are opened?

  20. updating completed activities

    Why is there a save button when viewing completed activities - If you amend a completed activity and click save you get an error message telling you to uncomplete the activity first - If you can't save an update, there shouldn't be a button or you shouldn't be able to enter any information without uncompleting first.
