Contact Details - custom field
It would be great if there were one or two fields within the Contact Details section that could be customized. We'd like to assign a client service associate to each client, and while we can add this to the UDF section, it would be so much easier to locate if it was right there under or above "Servicing Advisor" in the Contact Details.

When putting in a note have the ability to link a workflow
When adding a note in RedTail it would be very helpful if you could link a workflow to the note at that time similar to how you can set a followup reminder to the note that was added.

allow today view to to show our preference of today's activities
I want the ability to change the preference on Today to show Today's activities AND past due at the same time. Sure, it isn't for everyone, which is why I should be able to turn it on only if I'd like.

Zoom Phone Integration
It would be nice to have Zoom Phone integrate with Redtail. Examples might include click-to-call from the contact page, updating contact record when a call is made or received, etc...

allow for ALL membership codes to be customized, edited or deleted
Why does there need to be "default" membership codes. it make it confusing and cumbersome, please allow for the entire list to be customized.

Contact Record Opportunities
It would be nice if you were able to tell that a client was associated with an opportunity from their main contact landing page. It would alleviate the necessity to pull up the opportunities sub-tab under each contact individually.

Connect Activities & Notes to an Opportunity
Any Activity, Note, or Email should be able to be simultaneously linked to an Opportunity in addition to being linked to a contact and/or Account. Notes inside an opportunity do not automatically link to the corresponding contact(s) and Vice Versa. It is as if Notes inside an Opportunity are hidden within the Opportunity. All Notes and Activities related to a contact should be visible in the contact view, but only the activities and Notes related to the Opportunity should show inside the Opportunity view. This would gather all email communications, notes and activites (past and future) related to that Opportunity…

Within Morningstar we are able to customize the benchmark we show for reports. Within Redtail the S&P is the default benchmark. Would love a way to customize the Morningstar reports utilized/printed within Redtail. Thank you!

Target Dates Based on Previous Step
It would be nice if I could sequence my workflows based on the PREVIOUS STEP as well as the Target Date. Example: My assistant submits paperwork on Monday and I would like to have him/her make a follow-up call 4 days from submission.

broadcast email
If I run a quick list to show all clients that have email and a husband/wife both have the same email in their records, the broadcast email gets sent twice to the same address. I currently have to review hundreds of contacts and uncheck anyone that has a duplicate email. I would like the system to disregard duplicate emails and only send once for each email provided

assign recurring activity for the last monday of month
i.e. if I want to put Memorial Day in as a Holiday on my calendar every year, recurring, you only have the option for the "first, second, third or fourth" but Memorial day sometimes falls on the 5th Monday because it's always the "last Monday" of a month. i.e. in 2024 it will be the 5th Monday. Make this an option in the drop-down (annually on the last ___day" of the month or so we can make it recurring monthly, every 12 months, on the last __day".

Birthday Reminders
I think it would be a good idea to be able to trigger a reminder for a certain birthday. Like 72 for RMD's or 18 for clients who have certain accounts that need to be addressed when their child turns 18.

Add access times for assistants
Currently, I am in the process of hiring a new assistant. It would be nice if I could limit the time of day my outgoing assistant has access to the data base without having to manually enable/disable her access. This would also help for practices with multiple users who have employee turnover. Limiting the time to certain hours of the day, such as 8-5 could help with security concerns.

rider report
Can we add a filter where we can pull a report with all of the riders listed? I know we have one with the rider reminders, but can we pull one where it lists the client's names, accounts, and riders?

accessing templates from inside the activity screen
When in the activities screen, when cloning an activity, it would be extremely helpful to be able to access the different activity templates from that screen. This would help fill/change a lot of the form fields as opposed to have to do them all manually.

workflow filter
I filter the workflows to get a list pertaining to me. If i click on one and read it, could the back/return button take me back to the filtered list? Right now it goes back to the unfiltered, full list and i have to re-filter under my name again.

workflow outcome description template
Ability to create a template for the 'step notes' free-entry text box (comes up after completing a workflow step and adding an outcome). IE to make sure outcome notes are consistent, and prompt/remind user what details should be included in that box.
Similar to the template ability for description box on activities + notes.

On Email notifications, put linked contact's name at the top of the email (with type/subject)
On Email notifications, put linked contact's name at the top of the email (with type/subject) rather than at the bottom where we have to scroll all the way to the end of the email to see who it is for.
