  1. Anniversary duplication

    When you create a family and the husband/wife syncs together, you should also sync the anniversary dates. Currently, you have to input the anniversary in both contacts. It would save time to only input it on the head of household and then it syncs if you have created the family and put married.

  2. Contacts > Accounts > Display Account Title/Name

    Contacts > Accounts > Please add a column to display Account Title/Name so that we know which account is which from the titling!

  3. link workflow task to activity

    It would be wonderful if you could link an activity to a workflow task. For example, if the workflow task was to update MoneyGuide Pro, your activity linked would document all changes made and what was done. This way it posts individually to the client instead of only posting in notes of the client when the WF is done.

  5. bulk change notes permissions

    We have had client's change advisors and we want to be able to change the permissions on all the notes to the new advisor in once action versus having to change the permission on every historical note.

  6. auto save notes

    Would like to see an Auto Save feature on Notes. computer locked up and was unable to save the note and the entire note had to be re-written. Any possibility to add a a "Draft" feature to notes?

  7. Read Only Permissions

    I suggest you add a VIEW ONLY as a Database Choice for Users. That way if we want our branch office(s) to be added to our database (and vice versa) as Users to only be able to view the database, calendar, client accounts, etc. so they can assist clients they can do so. However, we don't want the User to be able to make changes or additions to the database or calendar. This ultimately helps reps from the main office (and vice versa) with clients at the branch office to be able to assist those clients over the phone if…

  9. Broadcast email - using "Enter" key in subject line causes email to send immediately.

    Please provide a fix for this issue! If a user pushes the "Enter" instead of the "Tab" key after entering a subject in a broadcast email, the email will immediately send to all chosen contacts, whether there is text in the body of the email or not. I've spoken to a RT rep, who checked with the developers. The developers say this is the intended behavior. This causes an incomplete email to be sent to all contacts chosen, which causes much confusion and extra work. Please add some type of fail-safe, with an extra step that asks "Are you sure…

  10. Notes are NOT saved when an activity is accessed by multiple users!!!

    We have multiple users and if by change two users access the same activity, only the notes, edits/changes are saved by the person that hits save first. If the both user can not enter while another user is accessing the activity then an alter MUST pop-up to signify this is a "READ ONLY" because IMPORTANT records are being lost and have been for years because we have been given the run around about the cause of this being anything but the simply truth!!!

  11. Add More Marital Status Options

    Right now there are only 7 Marital Status options: Divorced, Life Partner, Married, Separated, Single, Unknown and Widowed. I would like Redtail to add "Divorced and Remarried" and "Widowed and Remarried" as two new options. If there is a change in divorce law, we'd like to filter our clients and send correspondence to any client who is divorced or has previously been divorced, but Redtail only allows the marital status of a divorced and remarried person to simply be "Married". Additionally, a widowed and remarried person often has different estate planning goals we should be sensitive to (i.e. leaving inheritance…

  12. important information should be displayed in a banner across the top of client page

    i.e. we have a client who is suspicious of the internet and does not want his information in any emails. We frequently communicate with clients that way so we really need a big red warning "DON"T EMAIL" right under his name

  13. link notes to workflow

    It would be super helpful if you could link a note to another note (instead of just adding a comment to a note) when a note is related to a previously written note. It would also be super useful to be able to link an existing note to a workflow (or activity or opportunity. I know you can add a new note for activities and opportunities, but I don't believe you can add an existing note). Like, say the Advisor has a conversation with a client about a distribution request and makes a note in redtail about the request. Then…

  14. Link existing document to an activity or note.

    We can currently link a document from our computer to an activity or note and it gets uploaded to Documents on CRM. It would be great if we can link a document ALREADY in the CRM to an activity or note without duplicating it on the CRM.

  16. Ability to Re-Organize Menu

    It would be great to be able to re-organize the menu list on the left side. Especially when we are in a contact to be able to organize them by our most used tabs would be convenient.

  17. List TWO Contacts in Things to do Today

    If one contact linked to activity, contact name is shown. If more than one, the link says "X Contacts" where X is the number of contacts. This should be updated so that two contacts also show the full names in the links, there is room to provide two names. Three or more can stay "X Contacts" but two or less should show the names. Most activities have both spouses attached and seeing all activities say "2 Contacts" is inefficient and hard for organizational purposes.

  18. Client review dates should NOT auto change

    This is, literally, the MOST IMPORTANT thing that advisors need to stay on top of for compliance purposes. In our firm, MOST reviews do not necessarily happen exactly on time. There are all sorts of reasons for this. The "next review date" should NOT CHANGE AUTOMATICALLY.

    This should cycle on an annual (or quarterly, whatever is decided basis) based on a MANUALLY entered "most recent review" date. Then, I should be able to run a report so that I easily know which reviews are overdue.

    This is absolutely CRITICAL. C-R-I-T-I-C-A-L.

  19. Task Rollovers

    Tasks and Calls that are "Open" (not completed) should automatically rollover - otherwise they can get lost. As an alternative, allow this to be a choice under user preferences.

  20. Add time stamped notes inside the workflow

    I would like the ability to add time stamped notes to workflows. We often have tasks that take several try's to complete such as a phone calls to a client to get answers to questions. I would like to be able to see the noted attempts of calls to the clients with a date and time inside the workflow step or task.
