view all contacts on calendar page
Our team does not find it helpful to have multiple contacts on one activity consolidated on the calendar page. We rather see the multiple contact names at a quick glance rather than having to scroll over the activity.
The new enhancement may be helpful to others but possibly not to all users. Do we have the option to opt out of this enhancement?

Allow an image to be pasted into an email directly
At this time graphs/charts in an email have to be presented as a URL or an attachment. Would be nice to be able to clip and paste the graphic directly into the email body.

filter notes by user in contact
While in a contact's record, I'd like to have the ability to filter notes by user. We have a team that services each contact, so multiple people enter notes. I'd like an easier way to find notes I made for a particular client that doesn't require me to run a report.

User Rights - Edit Contact Records
There needs to be several more user rights options. Add the ability for the database administrator to allow or disallow a user from editing a contact record. If you want to centralize the process in your office for who gets to edit records this is the way. There is currently a user right option to delete a record. Someone could still go into the record a compromise the data within the profile. Its the same as deleting it. We need this ability to turn on and off for specific database users.

Edit/customize account information fields within an account type
Right now the fields within different account types are set, and not always pertaining to applicable features within certain registrations/ investments. Would be nice if the administrator could add/ edit/ remove account specs from the within a specific account type to match what our office would like to see when viewing certain types of accounts in Redtail. For example: just on the account type Variable Annuity, we want a death benefit option to be a list of riders we frequently use or Return of Principal, but it only gives us the options of Level, Increasing, Automatic or Decreasing which only…

Workflow Notifications- Choose when to send a notification
We have many individuals on a team in our office. It would be beneficial if sending workflow update e-mails were optional; just as they are with notes. It would be helpful to be able to select who the notifications should be sent to.

Print Full Activity Details, Including Linked Notes
Currently when printing an activity, only the portion of the description box that is showing on the web screen at that time appears. Additionally, the Linked notes are not printed out with it. If they are printed out with it, they are cut off and listed as (more...). We need to see all of the details surrounding that activity in an easily printable format.

Mapping Addresses
Currently, if you are in a client record, you can click on the client address and "MAP" it. It would be nice to be able to "MAP" multiple addresses at once. If I am travelling out of town to visit clients in the same general area, it would be helpful to be able to map all of the clients at once to determine the best route to take.

Financial Planning Tab in Clients
I would love to see the addition of a Financial Planning tab under the contact record. It would be a summary page of where a client is. It may have things like whether they have a will or not, when that will was done, when we last asked about the will to make sure it is reflects current wishes. It would have places for outside accounts or insurance policies (for a placeholder for accounts we don't have downloading in and won't mess up our AUM numbers). Fluid Role Reassignment in workflows...
As im going thru workflow tasks and playing with teams and roles, I see that if I have a workflow task set up on a team and the workflow is active, if i swap a team member out it reassigns the tasks automatically. If I attempt the same thing with Roles, the Advisor for example, this does not reassign the task to the new advisor. it seems that this behavior should be consistent across all teams and roles.

report completed tasks
It would be great if we could run a report on completed tasks so we can see which users completed what tasks, not just the last user that completed a workflow that may include multiple people

Link ALL accounts to an activity with one click
In some cases, such as portfolio reviews, ALL accounts for a client family are involved. It is very cumbersome (and time consuming) to have to click each individual account to link them to an activity. It would be very nice if you could add a "LINK ALL ACCOUNTS" button to the activity link page. Thank you for your consideration!

Hide Default Categories (AGAIN)
While I realize this has been requested numerous times in the past, and has been rejected and had the conversations closed, I would like to reopen the discussions for hiding the default categories that Redtail creates for all users.
Many of us like specific naming formats or descriptions for categories, especially when reviewing reports, and it would be nice if we didn't have to scroll through "similar" descriptions when selecting things like Account Asset Type, Account Type, Activity Types, etc.
For example, I like to categorize equity funds as either International Developed or Emerging Markets (for Growth, Value, and Blend).…

calendar
Add a feature to hover over the event on the calendar to then "Save & Complete", "Delete", etc. so you don't have to click into the event to do that.

be able to choose multiple categories on an activity
Would like to be able to assign/choose multiple categories for an activity or note. Sometimes more than one category applies.

bubble stays open too long on calendar when hover over subject
The white bubble stays open too long when hover over the subject on the calendar after you move your mouse cursor from it. It goes away quickly if you hover over the contact name or the linked attendees. It should only remain open if you leave your mouse cursor on it.

Change category type of multiple documents at once
It would save us a lot of time if we could edit the category type of multiple documents at once, instead of having to click through for each document. For example, when uploading several different estate documents for a client, it would be better to just have to click all the documents then change the category for all at once instead of changing the category for each individual document.

Add a recurring revenue field to opportunities.
Opportunities show "revenue". There should be a field for one time revenue and another for recurring revenue, like 12b-1 or advisory fees.
An extrapolation would be the 10 year value of the opportunity.
