  3. Household names and labels

    When linking a household and creating a name there is only a "Spouse"/Married label. This creates inaccurate labeling for our life partners or other significant others. Please allow us to adjust those labels at the top of the contact record rather than having conflicting information - Married at the top, partner below.

  4. Adding RMD INFO. Tab - nexto Misc Client Info

    Adding new Tab next to Misc Client Info - RMD Info.- so we can add Client RMD info instead of using UDF's or Important Info. It would be easier/quicker to find (at a glance) & make it to where we could either use copy/paste or creating your own template.

  5. Improve Document Organization

    I think the Documents tab in Redtail should have a folder system that allows us to put different documents into different folders, similar to Windows. Have a long list of documents sorted by date or account can be pretty difficult to navigate

  6. Only one user editing a Task at a time

    Will you please make it so only one person can be in an activity at a time. My colleagues and I have experienced having lost important information or date changes to a task because 2 people or more were in the same task.

  7. show power of attorney on contact details

    If client has a Power of Attorney, there should be a field readily visible on the main client record screen. A customizable field could work for this too. There should also be a way to link that POA's Redtail contact (not thru family set-up) to the client's contact record.

  8. birthday reminder

    It would be nice to turn off the enable birthday reminders system-wide so only those clients you definitely want to wish happy birthday can be reminded. As of now you can bulk remove, but all new contacts added are automatically checked. It would also be nice to have an automation template that would email a certain person/team a day or two before a birthday call was required. So, "if enable birthday reminder is checked" then "email user/team".

  9. Assets/Liabilities/Income

    Under assets and liabilities, we have to set these up every single time for each client. It would be great if we could set up the exact assets and liabilities we want for all of our database, that way it populates automatically and we can go in and just enter in the balances personally. Also, add an "Income" box on the assets/liabilities page, so we can see all sources of income: i.e. pension, social security, etc.

  10. Please add more robust tax report capabilities

    Please add a way to run a report with all the "Estimated Tax Information" fields: Adjusted Gross Income, Estimated Taxes, Tax Year, and Estimated Tax Bracket.

  11. Under Workflow Steps - Where the "Mail Merge" Option is, there should be an "E-Mail Merge" as an option

    When establishing a workflow Step, it asks if you want to do a "Mail Merge". You should also be able to choose to do an E-mail Merge from a template.

  12. Address Updates

    When updating a physical address, it should reflect on both of the spouses contact records. It only updates both spouses if it is a "Home Address" update. It should update both spouses if it involves the home address, mailing address, and the home phone #.

  13. Moving Driver's License under Contact Details

    Make it so that the Drivers License Information is stored under Contact Details with their Social Security Number. During Tax Season this would be a big help so we can at a glance see if we need to update their information

  14. Dictation directly into Redtail

    Dictation directly into Redtail would definitely be an uptick. There are a couple of closed suggestions showing that this has been completed, but my understanding after corresponding with Redtail support is that this is NOT a current feature. Please look into this. It is a feature available with Microsoft office and it would be extremely beneficial o dictate notes and tasks without having to use a third-party source. It takes at least 24 hours before Redtail notes are transcribed.

  15. NEXT REVIEW

    When setting up the Next Review feature, it seems the option to update to annually on a specific day has disappeared. (Ie. annually on the first Monday of April). I can choose a date for annual review (ie. April 15 can be scheduled for subsequent years), but not the first Monday of April.

    Also, it would be nice to keep the first review (ie. April 15, 2016) and then be able to change it in subsequent years. For example, this year we weren't able to meet until June 1, 2020. Going forward, I want to change it to June 1,…

  16. Last Client Contact Report

    Our company depends on constant communication with certain stakeholders in separate companies. Ensuring that we stay in communication with everyone can be difficult, because we have to check each individual contact in Redtail to see the last time we reached out to them. We would greatly benefit from being able to pull reports on when each contact was communicated with last-- by meeting, phone call, and email.   17. Option to Automatically Generate a Next Review Date based on COMPLETION of previous Review

    Allow us to set how often we want to have a review with a client and then when we complete the review, it would then trigger a reminder to set an apt at the specified time period FROM THAT DATE rather than from when you set the initial reminder.

  19. activity in use alert

    If 2 people are editing an activity at the same time it messes up what information is saved. There should be an alert like there is in word/excel such as "activity is locked for editing by user1, would you like to open a read only copy?"

  20. Moving team notice; rearrange "Today" page

    It would be great if we had the ability to customize and rearrange our "Today" page, ideally to be able to move Team Notices to the top so they are seen even above tasks.
