Hyperlink directly into activity from email notification
We get email notifications when someone has updated an activity, however, there is no hyperlink in the notification email that would easily connect you to the activity for your reply.
Adding a hyper link option in the notification email would save a number of steps.
Current process...
1. Get the email, read the activity and prepare reply needed.
2. Open a browser, go to redtail.
3. Navigate to the client.
4. Find the activity and click on the activity to open it.
5. Write reply and submit.The suggested new process:

Calendly Integration
I feel like a broken record asking for this but how is there not an integration with Calendly yet? We run our entire calendar through Redtail but we are on the verge of switching to Outlook simply because they have a native integration with Calendly. This would save our team time, money, and resources. There has been "internal discussion" at Redtail about this for some time now but never once have we received a substantive update or any progress. Is there any timeline for this integration? Thank you for your consideration!

Ability for team members to see when someone is working on a task
When a task is assigned to a team, it would be very nice for all users on that team to be able to see when a task is being worked on by another team member. This way 2 team members do not both work on the task simultaneously

Integrating Clientworks Calendar with Redtail Calendar
Integrate CW calendar with Redtail calendar.
For those of us using Meeting Manager having the Clientworks Calendar integrated with Redtail Calendar would be helpful with carrying over appointments.6 votes -
Duplicate A Contact
It would be helpful to create a contact (especially business contacts which have many of the same contact fields) then be able to duplicate that contact and then change just the name and email address or whatever. Almost like a Save As function, this would save a lot of time and reduce errors of having to retype the same information over and over for multiple similar contacts.

Know Your Client Options
There are a few categories under Know Your Client. It would be nice if we could add or remove different categories customizing them to our own business. This way we could better keep track of information for our clients. Ex. having a section for beneficiaries and another section for alternative addresses or trusted contacts or having a section for special notes.

allow daily calendar to print like it used to without the Filter events box printing at the top
When you print the daily calendar, it prints the filter events box at the top - it didn't used to do that -

banking
If multiple banks are listed in the client record, allow us to toggle for a choice of accounts when using LaserApp. It's the same premise as how we are able to choose family members.
We have many clients with multiple banks listed and as toggle isn't an option, we have to manually enter the information for the second bank. This opens the door for errors.

Ability to export ALL account information
Instead of making us beg for each account detail to be an option for custom export, just allow all info within the account details profile to be an option for custom exports. We wasted a ton of time entering LTC information so we can summarize it for our clients just to be told that part of account information can't be exported. So unnecessary, why would you purposefully limit the system like that and then make us ask for years for it be improved. All info shold be exported or reportable.. no reason to make it so limited!!

Attach document to template
Would like to be able to attach documents to note, activity and workflow templates.
Much needed in an industry whereas disclosures are required to be delivered prior to having a conversation with a client or prospect.31 votes -

Client Review
Add Last Review date to the Client Review with an option of updating the next review date based on the Last Review Date.
(Ie. for a client, the First Review is set for January 2019. It was set to reoccurring annually; next review should have been January 2020 but did not occur until March 2020. I want the next review to now be set to reoccurring annually in March going forward.Right now, if I want to set the annual review based on the March 2020 date, I have to go in and change the First Review Date…

change database owner
RedTail does not currently allow the database owner to be changed to a different userID. This prevents that userID from ever being able to be listed as a 'disabled' status. This is problematic if an employee/userID who should no longer be listed as database owner is linked as it cannot be transferred to the appropriate person or if the person who is listed as database owner is terminated.

note document
When attaching a document to a note, the note category does not attach to the document. We have to go back and edit the document that was uploaded to reflect the category. it would be nice for the document to keep the category.

search bar
I used to be able to enter a phone number or address in the search bar and the client would come up. It doesn't seem to do that now, did you take that away? I found it very helpful (esp when caller ID shows only the number.) If it is no longer available I would like to suggest it be re-added.

Automation Trigger Event: Client Age
This would allow us to trigger Workflows or Notifications when clients achieve a specific ages: 18, 21, 59.5, 60, 62, 65, 67, 70, 72, etc.
Some use case examples:
1. UTMA registration needs to be changed
2. Minimum social security claiming age achieved
3. Remind client to sign up for Medicare

being notified when entering a contact that is a duplicate
I receive about 10 leads a month from a marketing lead source. As soon as I receive a lead, I immediately enter into RT by first name, last name, email address and phone #.
There have been many times that I would receive a duplicate lead (without knowing or remembering) from the past. I wish that RT would inform me when a duplicate contact is being entered, specifically by email and/or phone #. I understand RT only informs of duplicate by EXACT first name, last name and tax id. Please considering updating and allowing at least email to be included…16 votes
