Birthday
This has been mentioned a few times, but I figure I ought to join the choir of us all just needing Redtail to be able to automatically generate and send out birthday emails on clients Birthday's.

lpl integration with meeting manager
LPL now has a feature through Clientworks called meeting manager. It would be helpful if the meeting notes entered into meeting manager would feed into the redtail notes. They have also introduced their own version of a CRM and it would be useful for that to integrate as well.

Calendar Integration with Calendly
Currently we have to work around 4 different google calendars to get the Calendly feature for scheduling. With the world shifting to digital, is there a possibility of RT integrating with Calendly so our office can have a scheduling system off our 1 CRM calendar?

Email Notifications- Activities vs. Notes
Currently when a user marks a note with the "Notify User/Team" the User/Team gets an email with a link to log in to Redtail to view the note.
Unlike an Activity when saved and completed the Title and the Description are completely displayed in the notification email.Can we have the notes fully display in the email. This would help keep teams all on the same page (especially when working remote).

Make "nick-name" searchable
Example. William Walton goes by "Bill" -- being able to search for "Bill Walton" in the search bar instead have the current needing to search for William Walton

Notes
Please update our notes section back to what they were - we take and add detail notes and want to be able to read the complete note without having to click into it - when we are on a call with a client now it is very hard to find the exact notes ugh

Please add ability to edit notes
Because we cannot see client information behind the note, we have to often flip back and forth (save note, get add'l into, go back into the note to add comment. It would be much better to allow us to edit the same note rather than doing comments (which are hidden) or posting multiple notes for the same call/interaction. If it's a compliance issue, then set something like 24 hours to be able to edit a note before it's locked.

attach activity to workflow
It would be helpful to be able to attach activities to a active workflow. That way you would see that the workflow task is complete by seeing the activity notes since you can't really put activity like notes within a workflow.

Viewing Notes section
Someone decided to make notes shorter and now we cannot see the notes added to Activities.....terrible when trying to scan through notes to find an issued

Link note to multiple activities
Add the ability to link one note to multiple activities. For example, if you discuss multiple items with one client that are related to several activities, it would be nice to attach that note to all of the activities involved rather than have to copy/paste the same note into each activity thus cluttering up the timeline.

Save Before Closing Warning
When you are updating a task, there should be a window that pops up to ask if we are sure we would like to close this page without saving progress. Far too often I forget to save when looking for something else in the CRM and it would be nice to have a warning that catches some of my human error.

Have the memberships tabs visualize connections in a social graph
It would be great to be able to see a contact's connections in a more visual way so that not only family members but friends, vendors, etc would show and then allow for an easy way to show the connections of those connections. I love social graphs and think it would enhance the understanding of each contact and the degrees of connections between them all.

Permissions
Couple of things related to permissions.
First, each user should be able to set the default permission of the contacts, actives', and notes they create (separate setting for each). As a db owner managing a group of 15 or so advisors on separate teams its annoying to go through and fix the contacts they forgot to permission.Second, inconjunction with the first, have the option to allow the db owner to force permissions of notes and activities to always be the same as contacts and to change when contact permissions change. review date
Just realized that if your first review is at the end on the month (ie 29,30 or 31st) and the next date falls on a month that does not have this day (example February of many months that only have 30 days) the review goes to the next scheduled day. So no instead of every 4 or 6 months the client isn't being reviewed until 8 months or a year. The date should at least go to the next valid calendar day not just skip it.

Activity notes in mobile app
In the mobile app, we're currently unable to view or add notes linked to an activity. Since the workflow limitations cause work-arounds using activities, the ability to review and/or add notes to an existing activity would be helpful. We need to have a consistent experience whether we're working via the browser on our computers or the app on our mobile devices. The incompleteness of the mobile app in this manner makes it difficult to fully embrace the functionality of Redtail if we're unable to count on the consistency across platforms.

Allow for parallel flows through Workflow with dependencies on Workflow Tasks and not just Steps.
The inability to link Workflow Task dependencies and only dependencies between steps limits the workflow capabilities. Can't start on WF Tasks in the next step until the entire step is complete. Also, allowing for multiple flows through the workflow where WF Steps/Tasks can be done in parallel would be beneficial to real world where multiple sequential paths are frequent and they should be related in the same workflow.
