Edit 'Outcomes' in Workflows tool
I've found that once you create an Outcome in the Workflow template, it can only be deleted, not edited. It would be helpful for this to be corrected.

Assign Activity to Team
I would like to be able to assign an activity to a team, instead of only being able to assign activities to users.
This works well for reassigning tasks and roles while individuals are out or unavailable.
For instance Joe Smith (JS) handles all of our client paperwork. Jane Doe (JD) is the paraplanner in the office. I have created a team: "Client Service - JS". Joe Smith is currently the only member of that team. I would like to be able to assign activities (like processing client paperwork) to Client Service - JS. If Joe Smith decides to leave…

make the advanced search options editable like they used to be
We used to be able to edit the fields (like backspace or type in) in the advanced search. For example, contact category.
We could use the operand "begins with" and type "client" since our categories are (client - A, client - B, etc.) and it would pull all clients.

Offer a check box or option for "Per Stirpes" in the beneficiary box under the accounts.
Allow acknowledgement of a "per stirpes" designation for each beneficiary. Then if that box is checked have an additional area pop up that will allow to put the per stirpes recipients names if they are known.

Automations: Make the Know your Client Review Date a Trigger Event
The Last/Next Review Date fields in the Know Your Client section is something our practice uses to help schedule the next review date for each client, rather than creating an activity for it, to help minimize the data footprint of each contact record (because there is enough "clutter" on record). If there were a way to make either of these fields, or both, a trigger event for an automation template(i.e. linking a Review Meeting workflow)...I believe it would enhance the Redtail experience.

When creating new activity, give users the option to make the "more details page" the default.
Currently, there are lots of suggestions for fixing the abbreviated activities dialogue box. Many users are unhappy with the multi-step process for assigning activities to other users, adding notes, etc. It's very inefficient and lots of users prefer the Leapfrog approach to adding activities - one dialogue box with all the details on one page. It was very efficient.
Maybe the best solution to making the process more efficient in Tailwag is to bypass the abbreviated dialogue box. There are two options.

Contact Details - Add Retired/Retiring As Of Option
In financial industry advise offered to clients may differ based on whether they are retired, on the verge of retiring or have many years left to work.
It would be helpful/useful to money managers / planners to Add Retired/Retiring As Of Option with a drop down to select a date so this information can be entered when the client is created. This would greatly increase the functionality of searching contacts without having to manually assign this options as a keyword or tag group as it may be overlooked.

Activities saved as draft
When creating an activity, it would be really helpful to have that activity saved as a draft if you inadvertently leave the activity before saving it. If nothing else, a pop-up asking whether you're sure you want to leave an unsaved activity would help keep us from forgetting and losing all of the activity detail we already entered.

One Click Copy to Clipboard
In other industries I've used CRMs where I could click on address or phone for instance to copy to my clipboard for easy pasting elsewhere.

Allow the option for automations to trigger on the scheduled date of activities rather than on the date of their creation
Currently if you want to set up an automation that triggers by an added activity the only option is to have the automation complete when the activity is initially created. With this system it is impossible to set an automation up for a future date.
I suggest that an option is made for automations to be triggered on the scheduled date of an activity as opposed to only allowing the automation to occur when the activity is initially created.

Custom Trigger Events
To expand on a few of the other suggestions, it would be helpful to have more Trigger Event options in the Automation function. The ability to customize the Trigger Events would be really helpful as well.

Account Risk Tolerance and Time Horizon Fields
It would be nice if the fields under an Account for Investment Objective, Time Horizon, and Risk Tolerance could match up with those of my BD new account forms. Currently only the Investment Objective list can be modified in RT. Could you make it so we could modify the lists for Risk Tolerance and Time Horizon as well thus creating a list of choices that match up with those of our respective BDs?

Make ALL Fields Searchable in the Advanced Search
If the fields are there, they should be searchable so that we can sort our data how we need to. I know it's a lot of work, but it would make Redtail so much more usable for marketing and servicing clients.

default values for every field
Kindly enhance the system where i can setup default values for many of the fields For example, if i want a particular team to be given access or notified most of the time, I should be able set that as a default instead of selecting the same every time i create a task or opportunity. Ability to select defaults should be provide to most if not ALL fields.

Integrate With TRELLO
Can you integrate with TRELLO in some way?? There is a FREE version and a BUSINESS version. This would COMPLETELY REVOLUTIONIZE task management, office management, workflows... TRELLO is colorful, highly functional, super easy to use, and totally customizable.

Task list
I would like to be able to have a running task list on the right hand side of the calendar screen so I can keep track of tasks that don't necessarily need done on a certain date. Similar to a note pad or something like that!

E-mail notifications for comments on existing notes
Is it possible for Redtail to include e-mail notifications on comments to existing notes. Currently we receive e-mail notifications when a note has been posted on our clients profile, but follow up comments to those notes are not an option for notifications. This is needed since we are constantly updating our clients notes via the comments box and those don't notify. thanks

Please allow customization here. Please add the ability for us to change the fields or add a field. Specifically Objective to "Portfolio Model".
