  1. Make a "this was a client review" check box in notes and activities

    There should be a separate field that we can use to report on client reviews in notes and activities. Currently, if you want to search notes for all of a client's reviews, you have to set up a custom category for it or use specific words to search. If there was a check box "this was a client review", then a report would easily show the history of all client reviews and would allow for better flexibility in charting client contacts.

  3. adult children

    We need a Family Tree tab or a section devoted to keeping track of and quickly communicating intergenerational relationships. The membership tab should be renamed/replaced with sections that show dependent (within household) and non-dependent relationships (within family but outside of household).

  4. Improve contact search.

    When I search for a client using first and last name, it won't show results if the contact card has a middle initial and i didn't type that in.

    For example, if the contact card says, "John Q. Smith" and I search for "John Smith" no results come up.

    Can we also have it show suggestions/similar names? If I don't know how to spell a name and am only off by one letter, can it suggest names like Google does?

    Ex: If I search for Smoth, could it say, "showing results for "Smith" instead."

    Some people have terrible names that…

  5. conference room availability

    Iif multiple advisors share a single conference room then have a way for us to see quickly (maybe an icon on the activity) that represents the activity taking place in the conference room. Similar to your upcoming feature of telling advisors they have double booked themselves this would tell an advisor that a room is double booked. To make this work properly we would need to be able to add a few set locations that we can easily select (while still having the ability to put in a one time address when appropriate.

  6. link an existing note to an existing activity

    Link Existing Notes to Existing Activities
    Under the Note Actions you can link an existing note to account - why not to an Existing Activity? I frequently need to clean up the data base for continuity and correctness. This would be a tremendous help to all admin users.

  7. Automation Trigger Event: Client Age

    This would allow us to trigger Workflows or Notifications when clients achieve a specific ages: 18, 21, 59.5, 60, 62, 65, 67, 70, 72, etc.

    Some use case examples:
    1. UTMA registration needs to be changed
    2. Minimum social security claiming age achieved
    3. Remind client to sign up for Medicare
    4. RMD age reached

  8. Beneficiary Report

    Is there anyway to include all names when running a beneficiary report on family account - or list the "family name?" right now it only shows the individual

  9. Add an Estate Planning Tab

    Add an Estate planning section under KNOW YOUR CLIENT with the following sub sections
    1. Health Care directives - yes or no
    2. A durable power of attorney - yes or no
    3. A Will - name of will
    4. A living Trust - Name of trust and date of trust

  10. **Please don't classify activities as past due until after the end date**

    If I create an activity that needs to be finished by the end of the month, it shows up as past due every day and I have to manually roll it over each day.

    Use the end date entered when creating the activity to determine when an activity is "past due"

    Or add the ability to set things up this way when creating an activity.

  11. Ability to send broadcast email as the advisor

    Instead of my advisor having to log in and send out the broadcast emails, it would be better if there was a way to "send as" so the broadcast emails come from my advisor and not me.

  12. Task list

    I would like to be able to have a running task list on the right hand side of the calendar screen so I can keep track of tasks that don't necessarily need done on a certain date. Similar to a note pad or something like that!

    CLOSED WON AND CLOSED LOST is simply not enough.
    We need CLOSED INACTIVE and CLOSED LOST CLIENT
    In the conversion process from suspect to prospect to client we can customize the stages to our own desires but when it comes to creating the final tally, you take control and the end resulting two options of Closed Won and Closed Lost is not enough.

  14. default values for every field

    Kindly enhance the system where i can setup default values for many of the fields For example, if i want a particular team to be given access or notified most of the time, I should be able set that as a default instead of selecting the same every time i create a task or opportunity. Ability to select defaults should be provide to most if not ALL fields.

  16. In the Calendar, show Contact Names in task when there are 2 linked Contacts

    Our office is not a fan of the change you just made to the Calendar of removing the Contact Names within a task if more than one Contact is linked to the task. It just shows the words "2 Contacts." We want to be able to see the Client Names in every task that we create, especially for appointments. I called Redtail Support to have this new feature turned off and set back to showing the Contact Names and was told you are unable to do that.   17. Add ability to search email *content,* not just subject lines

    Redtail archives all of our firm's email communications with clients, but it does not make that information searchable (beyond the Subject line, which is not very useful). While I can search my own emails within my email client, I cannot effectively search for other users' communications.

    EXAMPLE: If I need to know if Client A was sent document Z by anyone in our firm, I'd have to ask each user to search their own email client and/or manually review every single email archived in Redtail.

    Redtail should also make the message content (including attachments... or at least attachment file names)…

  18. When searching text in notes, search comments as well.

    When filtering text in notes to find a word or phrase, the text in comments is not searched. Comment text should be searched as well.

  19. Activity Description Color Coding

    Activity Description Toolbar: Add font color/highlighting.
    When adding notes to the Description in Activities, it would be incredibly useful to have the option to change the font color and to have highlighting capabilities. Thank you!

  20. Activity Privacy Options- change default from Everyone or allow users to change default

    The new Activity Privacy Option defaults to Everyone. Few if any databases are going to want Everyone to see activities or to see colored blocks on their calendar marked Private. That means thousands and thousands of changes to activity privacy display. INSTEAD, change the default to Only Attendees, OR, allow users to change their default.
