  1. Trusted Contact

    Under the contact record, can we please add fields for "Trusted Contacts"? We need to record the name, address, phone, and email of Trusted Contacts in a way that is easy to find. We are currently adding it to the "Important Information", but having a specific field in the contact info would be more helpful. It would also be nice if there was a checkbox somewhere that you could click if Trusted Contact is "declined", as this is something required going forward.

  2. Searching Departments in Business Records

    Names listed in the department section of a business record does not always warrant a separate record in Redtail. However, sometimes we need to search for that contact. Please extend the search capabilities to include departments within business records without having to enter a separate record in Redtail.

  3. Add roles to the main page for a contact

    Instead of having the redundant "Servicing and "Writing" advisor on the main page under contact details, put the Roles in these spots. Because the roles are associated with workflows, It is important to have them in an easy to see place instead of on a random page that is easily forgettable.

  4. Albridge Feed Missing Company Name and Registration Type

    The data feed into Redtail from Albridge does not map the company name that the account is associated with. Additionally, the registration type is not mapped. We have over 45,000 accounts in our Redtail database and adding this information on a per account basis is unrealistic.

  6. Tracking maiden names and name changes.

    A long-time client gets married, you make the changes in Redtail, but you know them by their previous name. It would be helpful to have a way to pull them by their maiden names, without having to hyphenate it for the sake of being able to pull it. A way to link a maiden name, that is no longer a legal name, to the new married name.

  7. Assign Activity to Team

    I would like to be able to assign an activity to a team, instead of only being able to assign activities to users.

    This works well for reassigning tasks and roles while individuals are out or unavailable.

    For instance Joe Smith (JS) handles all of our client paperwork. Jane Doe (JD) is the paraplanner in the office. I have created a team: "Client Service - JS". Joe Smith is currently the only member of that team. I would like to be able to assign activities (like processing client paperwork) to Client Service - JS. If Joe Smith decides to leave…

  8. Pinned note(s) show first on main Contact Screen Note Box

    I would like to see the pinned note(s) staying at the top of the quick view notes section located on the main contact screen. As of now you have to go into the contact and then click on the Notes section to the left to see any pinned notes listed at the top.

  11. Laser App - Head of House info populate for spouse

    Currently if I access Laser App under a spouse because it is paperwork for her new account, Laser App will NOT let me select her husband for a beneficiary form or the second of a Joint Ownership. The way it works now, I HAVE to access Laser App under the "FAMILY HEAD" and then keep switching to spouse and back to family head for the different fields I want to populate.   12. Edit 'Outcomes' in Workflows tool

    I've found that once you create an Outcome in the Workflow template, it can only be deleted, not edited. It would be helpful for this to be corrected.

  13. email history default to note: email received or email sent

    For any email history to also appear as default as a chronological note as either email received or email sent. A huge portion of our client correspondence is via email. As it stands we either have to copy/paste emails into notes (which defeats the purpose of having emails journal archive) or review both notes and email history to understand the correspondence history of a client, which is redundant. The system as it sits today is both unnecessarily time consuming and encourages mistakes and misses.

  14. Scheduling & Confirmations

    A native self-calendaring option like Calendly or ScheduleOnce that has direct access to your calendar and a confirmation system like AppointmentReminder that automatically sends out an appointment confirmation via email and/or sms.

  15. Expand Automation Options

    Automation is great! I love the idea, but it needs to be expanded. In our office, we have multiple staff and advisers. Many of the staff do the same functions for different advisers. To keep from making some lists too large, it would be great to expand the ability that automation currently offers.

    Increase options for trigger events. Example: Client Review Date. It would be great to be able to automate a workflow based on the clients review date(s). This would create less work and tracking of the staff and advisers and make sure that clients are reviewed as often…

  16. Risk tolerance options in Redtail Tailwag

    Currently there are three risk tolerances in Redtail CRM and we do not have the ability to modify them. Within TFA and our practice we use five. It would be great if you could add low-moderate and moderate-high. What is there now does not accurately reflect our clients needs and does not filter into LasarApp the way it needs to be.

  17. Add Opportunity Notes to Linked Contacts

    I love that we can add notes to Opportunities, but it would be very nice to have the option to copy those notes to the linked contacts so we don't have to double enter them. A checkbox that says "copy note to linked contacts" would be fantastic!

  18. Add documents to workflows!

    We really need to be able to link Documents to workflows. We have several workflows for trades and such that we need to attach spreadsheets to, the way we can on activities. There are a few workflows we haven't built because we can't attach Documents to them like you can to an Activity. This is super frustrating!

  20. Add fields to comply with the "know your client" FINRA requirements

    Right now about 1/3 of the necessary fields are there and if we could get them all there, easier to document for our records and can be used by virtual assistants.
