workflow automation
Automation options exist currently to start up a workflow upon certain triggers (ie. a certain status created/updated). It would be nice if the criteria could identify more complex (if/then) updates to narrow down specific changes to trigger additional workflows (ie. status update from "comprehensive client" to "tax client" triggers a particular workflow vs any contact status update to "inactive" triggers another workflow).

Alert reminder pop-up such as Outlook
I see that others keep posting about alert reminder pop-up options that allow for snooze/setting reminders for times other than 30 min. etc.. The feedbacks continue to be "completed" with addressing the issue as the alert bell at the top of the right-hand corner, or the dog barking 30 min before a given task/appt.. I'm not sure that is addressing the concern as there is a need for pop-up reminders such as found on Outlook. Is it possible to link Redtail and Outlook calendars? This way I could use the functionality of Outlook reminders and it wouldn't necessarily matter if…

Searchable activities on Dashboard/Today's Overview
It would be good to be able to search Activities on Dashboard or Today's Overview to find particular activities for multiple clients (such as spouses or employees of the same company).

Remove Closed Accounts from Reporting Under Account Type
When you click on accounts and see the graph for what type of accounts make up your client base, the closed accounts are still reflected. This does not depict an accurate picture of our clientele. Including the data skews what type of accounts we should be focusing on for our firm. Please do not include closed account in reporting function. They are closed and should not be considered relevant data to the existing database. However we should not have to delete them entirely because we might have important notes of past history tied to those accounts. Just disable them from…

Popup alert or notification to confirm when you drag a calendar event
We have an issue where events, seminars, or appointments will accidentally get dragged to a different time or day on the calendar.
When changes are made by dragging, the change isn't even noted in the "Timeline" for the activity. RMD Ages in Contact Information
Someone just emailed me asking about putting the client age in years and months (78.8 years) so they can see the client's exact age for, example, taking a withdrawal without penalty. They suggested it would be in the Contact Details under the DOB. Thanks!

Entering and updating Seminar/Event Attendees
"Attendees" should be "Invites" or Guests", as "Attendees" implies they are attending.
When entering Attendee information, please add the option to add guests in same box we are entering "Attendee". (Thereby avoiding the need to enter the Attendee, save it, then scroll through to find them in the list to then add Guests. (this is silly)
Also, and very important, PLEASE fix the count so that we can see # of confirmations (attending); # of guests; and # of declines. Currently, the count of "Attendees" is every single response which serves no purpose at all.

I need to see clients trust accounts on their Contact page.
When my clients are trustee or beneficiary on a Trust account I need to see that relationship on the Contact page. Currently only accounts in the clients SSN are included in AUM on the Contact page. Linking the client to the Trust in memberships does not show up on the Contact page. The only way I can relate the client to the trust is through personal knowledge. If I am looking at the Contact page and do not recall they also have a Trust account there is nothing there ont the Contact page to remind me.

Servicing Advisor = Advisor Role
Workflows are best used when tasks are assigned to different "roles" within each firm. If we went to the trouble to assign a Servicing Advisor to every contact, why now do we also need to assign an Advisor Role to every contact? Seems redundant.
Sure, you can do a bulk change to assign all servicing advisors the advisor role. But why? If contacts are always getting added, how frequently should you need to run these bulk actions before running a workflow. Recipe for mistakes...

list two contacts when attached to note/activity, not just '2 contacts'
I realize you like to say 2 contacts when both spouses are attached to an activity to save space but I'd love it if you only did that when 3 people are attached. I am trying to be good with my notes and attach both parties so they each have a record of it but then on printed reports, I can't tell who the activity or note is for. So list both names at two, summarize at 3.

Add more Automation Triggers
It would be nice to have the following workflow triggering event.
1. Account Status Change - If an account is marked closed it would be great to trigger a workflow.

Additional family options (not in the 'Membership' page)
Give additional options (life partner, ex-spouse, boyfriend/girlfriend, etc.) when creating family groups. Preference would be to have this in the Family page instead of the Memberships page, so that you can visually see all of the people who are linked to each other in the family tree (instead of a list in Memberships). It is also easier to navigate to the Family page, so that this information would be more accessible.

Client Review Reminder
I use the Client Review Reminder section all of the time.
I download a report in excel that has last review date, next review date and I work off that report to send portfolio review emails from RT. It works fine, but I really want to get away from excel spreadsheets.
Can't rely on the Portfolio Alerts since they are inaccurate as it pertains to reviews that are overdue. i.e. client receives review ever 6 months, last review 3/1/21, next review was to be 9/1/21, it didn't happen so the next review date automatically changes to 3/1/22. Apply different time zones to different events in Calendar
When creating/editing events in the Calendar, we should be able to enter a time zone for that specific event, so that it adapts to each time zone. Very difficult to schedule events that do not occur in the same time zone as they were created.

Add Latest CRS Delivery to the Know Your Client Tab
Please add an input field for Latest CRS Delivery date to the Know Your Client Tab, along with the Latest ADV Delivery and Latest Privacy Policy Delivery date inputs.

Arrange All Day Activities

Ability to enter a date for when the note occurred, not just when the note was created
If the note has to be timestamped on the date it was entered, at least add the option to also select when the note occurred.
